If you would do a closer inspection, you'd see that when someone steps out of line, my first, even my second, post to them is polite and cordial, asking them to follow accepted CC.Net BBS standards. See the following thread:
    http://bbs.clutchcity.net/ubb/Forum3/HTML/011776.html
Did I "rail" against this guy? No. Just like my first post to ZRB months ago was polite, simply asking him to tone down the negativity. It's only when they continue to ignore the rules that I get nastier.

How many times do I have to say that I am not trying to garner attention? When I post, of course I want responses. Not for attention, just for discussion. As for the chat, I didn't sense that it was a serious atmosphere, so I was rather wacky. I will try to tone it down, now that the rules have been so properly explained to me.

Honestly, do you think I expect you to confess to me? "Yes, I did it for the attention, you're too smart for me Behad"

I'm saying what I think you are doing. I've seen it too many times before. Experience does have its advantages.

Ah, lets forget about this "ordeal" and move on to more important things; namely the Rockets 2001 (still alive) play-off drive. [IMG] I think ZRB realizes his past stupidity, and we should give him the chance to renew his reputation. Besides, all this energy being used up in the squabble within Rockets fans could instead be funnelled to other things; such as yelling at Cuttino's boneheaded plays or Jazz fans in general!

BTW, am I the only one who thinks its the Seattle air thats getting to people? First Vin Baker, and now ZRB. . . (cue the X-Files music)

Well, you are wrong. You are dead wrong. I will prove it with my future posts. I hope everyone else will believe me.

Ok, it's past midnight. Let's start over for ZRB. ZRB gets it, let's play the season again. [IMG]

I'm willing to start anew. BUT...I'll be watching for telltale signs of your past errors, and....

Your reputation is shot. Your best bet is to get a new name. Good luck. I'm out.

I think Azim is right... ZRB never sees the sun and he has a volcano in his backyard. Plus, his spastic South Park "Tweak" persona could be explained by the Seattle's Best Coffee.

Tweak, the blood is in the water, but I'll back off. Just try to relax. Calm down. Whenever you want to post ask yourself "am I a spaz?"; if the answer is yes, wait 5 minutes and repeat.

I'll try to be nice, but I do retain the right to call you 'Tweak' from now on. [IMG]

Actually, this is my way of dealing with the Phoenix loss. If I posted how I feel during or immediately after a game like that, I'd be just like ZRB. I gotta lay low for a few hours to help regain focus.

I know you can restrain yourself Turn - I know - atleast for a quarter [IMG]

Ok - someone just recently told me in the chat that I has some serious ZRB/turn issues. Who would have thought it was the same guy - ok I did, several times, but I could not be 100% sure as your turn game-personality was way worse than your ZRB pre/post game personality. What gave you away for sure for me (or atleast as sure you can be) was when we got to see your ZRB game-personality. Then I realised that it was as bad. Now I hope you can make a turn [IMG] for the better as you promised (yet again), and believe me I hold no grudges. In fact I will step away from the chat agreed "Do not respond to ZRB-threads". Well I'm answering this one so I guess I would have to. [IMG]

What I'd like you to do is be yourself, but restrain yourself from being your earlier self. Someone says that constant sunshine-fans is just as annoying as the opposite, but I can say that I really truly believe that we enjoy ourselfs more during games. I'm not ready to confess to being sunshine - I'm optimistic - but I don't think I'm over the edge. I do believe we can make the playoffs, in fact I think we do have just as good a chance as Wolves and Suns when you consider schedules. (And I have a schedule for it so I will post keep posting when we go up or down on it - and luckily it calculated a loss to Suns - alas I'm optimistic but do not think I'm too optimistic) After my accounts it will be very close, and if I'm wrong I will not confess that my view was way to optimistic. These things happen - and I do not think we're a lock for the playoffs - In fact just a week ago I said we couldvery well fall back to 10th, but still believing for 7th.

So what do I have against your negative view then ZRB (apart from your turn rantings you say will be gone anyway). Not much. In fact DaDa expresses the same "we will not make it" view, and I have nothing against what he says. I can understand where he is coming from. What pushes you over on the other side is your: "It's over - No chance" perspective with nothing much more to say than that. Add some arguments to that - preferably well though up arguments - and please do not be too bombastic about your negative views - your supposedly a fan - you got to have some belief, even just a little - so leave room for that.

And now consider the "Do not answer ZRB-threads chat ban" for lifted - Atleast from me - and I kinda was the one who pushed it through - and I think it had a good effect if you consider that we due to the page was down only was about 10-15 ppl in the chat. you got to find it amussing that you where talking to yourself in that one thread [IMG] (I know you deny it - but 8 consecutive post unanswered) And come to think of it just now reading the BBS you seemed to kill of a few threads too, cuz even in threads not started by you not many have been responding to what you've had to say. Not starting any new threads kinda forces us to do that [IMG]

Good luck with your new "personality". Hope it is your own this time.

hey liberal, your opinion counts for jack on this matter since you don't hang out in chat. [IMG]

You have no idea how annoying the "old" Tweak was.

After *really* bad losses *coughphoenixcoughcough*, sometimes I don't post for a day or so. I don't think I would rant if I did, just don't have anything really interesting to say. Mostly just, "damn, that sucked."

Achebe: You like Chinoi Achebe and you're a conservative? I was under the impression that he was rather liberal... at least, "Things Fall Apart" seemed very much a critique of conservative structures.
