I'm not sure why the Zaza interview is regarded as funny.

Sure, the way he starts off his interview is funny, but he then says stuff that is pretty meaningful to him and his team.

'Nothing is easy' - he validates and appreciates the extra efforts that the team was putting in, at practice, on defense, etc.

'We're going to Game 7' - How can you not be emotional and completely invested in a moment/situation like that?

Not speaking english fluently could be the funny part, but I don't see it.

He made his point, and pretty well too; rallied his teammates and the crowd fully, like they had probably been needing. Judging by that moment only, his mentality/attitude towards the game is what this Rockets team oozes right now, and I love it

I took it as he had to "BALL"...as in he was on his game and was making things happen.

It's funny because he turned an NBA post-game interview into a WWE interview.

He seemed upset about something, like he hasn't been happy not having the ball in his hands or something of the sort. Didn't seem awkward for him,but was for the guy interviewing him.

or maybe he just liked the ball they used in the game. Maybe he hasn't liked any of the balls they've used in previous games. He probably got to spit on the ball before the game or something.
