It's actually funny how little opinion I base my agruments on. I just state stats and opponents, no opinion what so ever. Also, if you know anything about basketball at all, you would know that Turkey, Brazil, and Angola are not considered elite teams. Brazil and Angola are completely off of the radar and Turkey is improving but just beginning to be acknowledged. Also, about the location of Angola, I believe it is on the west coast of Africa if memory serves correct, but I could be wrong. And importantly, save yourselves from embarassment and don't post another pro-Yao argument until he throws down 30 against a respectable team like Yugoslavia or Lithuania. His recent performance has given me plenty of fuel to make a case but y'all are stuck with nothing so you keep making stupid remarks which prove nothing. And apparently I'm also not the only one who doesn't think Yao has skills. Mark Cuban said that his scouts watched Yao practice and gave him a second round rating. Maybe they were on to something...

    riiiiiight.......

so your into the national basketball scene "bigtime"? keep up with all the forien ball action? so where did you say these stats were? these stats you had on all these teams and players? and you have seen them play? where exactly are these posts that you claim to clearly state FACTS only?

look man, why do you have to cut him down all the time? do you hate chinese people? is that it? who should have the rockets drafted? jay-will? the rockets only need a center, and the guy is over 7 foot and does not move like a praying mantis. that is good for a look see.

please, just give it a f*cking rest till he plays here. are you just some mean little spiteful kid who likes to badmouth his "supposedly" favorite team? does that make you feel smart and powerful? 'cause it just makes you look like an immature jackass.

Following your logic, if a dream team player didn't throw down 30 points against a respectable team like Yugoslavia or Lithuania in the last olympics he's considered as an NBA bust.

    Nice logic.

Name one dream team player who scored 30 against Yugoslavia or Lithuania in the Sydney olympics, and even if you can find one, try to justify the other players that didn't.

Furthermore, there is no leader in a national team. A national team of any country is a collection like the all star team, no player will be recognized as a leader in such a team - Yao is not the leader of the Chinese national team. As a result national team players' stats are often spreaded quite evenly. Expecting players as a national team member putting up monster numbers to judge his worth further shows your lack of understanding of international basketball.
Yao's had solid contribution on a minute to minute basis. His scoring efficiency alone can make him a starting center on any NBA team except the Lakers, that's saying a lot.

Before you are busy calling Yao supporters stupid and pathetic, why don't you take a look in the mirror first? You biased fool.
