Although this may be "ancient" Rocket's history and not specific to the team but on America's Got Talent on NBC a couple of minutes ago Turbo performed with some of the Rocket's "dunkers" that perform during the breaks in the game (including Greg Mueller the Rocket's sideline warmup guy). They didn't miss a dunk and Turbo (Jerry) performed as himself without the mask!! I did not know he was 42 years old with a cool afro-dread action kickin.

Just thought those of you who caught it might like to know that those are your local Rocket Dunkers.

Remember when he was on American Gladiators. That was awesome. Too bad he lost.

i still remember going to games in the Compaq Center and watching him during the breaks, it would be louder when he was on the court than it was when the rockets were on there lol

It's The Summit, and it will forever be The Summit. Even though it's a church now, it's still The Summit!

I remember back in like 96-97 Turbo came to either the YMCA or my school and did some dunks off the trampoline. IIRC his dad had polio or was partially paralyzed and he had started walking on his hands or something like that because his dad could do it, i'm not sure the story was told to me something like 10 years ago but Turbo has incredible upper body strength.

I'd much rather have this guy than the bear anyday, but why not bring back turbo and keep the damn bear like it was back in the day for a while? Oh I forgot, it's win now as long as it's cheap.

I wish I had video of the best dunk I ever saw him do...

18 foot (5.49 meters for our metric fans) A frame ladder, standing on the very top step, back flip off and dunk on the way down.

    Awesome!
