I am finally ready to move on from PJ. Love his hustle and grit on D but his offense is nonexistent now.
Thought so as well but not so much anymore. Tucker (and House) is more of a problem than MDA or Harden or Westbrook but haters always want to focus on these 3 because they lack BB knowledge. Inaqeduate and ill fitting role players, lack of bench depth are the real problems.
the reality is, this is one of the worst teams in the league if Harden is not going off for 40+. Now...that is fairly common, hence our record, but it really shows how poor the roster and coaching are.
It's not that simple. His offense was fine until around Christmas time. It's like it suddenly fell of a cliff. Something's not right.
Correct. Something is NOT right. And that is PJ Tucker. Same for Danuel House. On is 35, what is the other guys excuse?
You and I do not see eye to eye on coaching but on most everything else we can agree. This roster needs a major overhaul sans Beard and Brodie. There are not enough complementary high energy players for Brodie, not enough 3-D players over 6-7 overall.
Tucker is playing considerable minutes for a 34 year-old. It’s as if he and Harden have both hit that wall. Dan Tony was going to ride them until the wheels fell off. Well, I don’t think the wheels have fallen off (they can still play), but you know that car going down the road with that wobbly wheel, and you want to get the driver’s attention?
You don't suddenly forget how to shoot the basketball (unless your name is Ryan Anderson), especially for a veteran like Tucker. What I am trying to say is that it shouldn't have anything to do with being old. You don't play high level basketball one day and wake up the next day and become too old to play. What's happening with Tucker is not normal. I am hoping that it's just a slump. House is another story. He is young and inconsistent. Confidence is the biggest thing for young players.
