We all know Hedo's contract won't be voided. No way he sacrifices that much money. He'll play out his full term in Toronto before that happens. Maybe if he offers them an attractive enough buyout, they could include him in a package with Bosh and the other team could pay him the buyout terms (think Spurs and V-Span but with a buyout). This way, including Hedo in a trade package won't be as big a deal-killer.

The problem is buyouts of huge contracts usually happen at 90 cents on the dollar or more. Personally, I think Hedo is talking out of the sides of his mouth and he isn't really willing to give up much to leave the Raptors. I doubt an agreement is reached.

But, he has a problem with Toronto, not other teams. If he's traded, he'd probably be more than happy to keep his awful contract.

But he has to leave on the Raptors terms, which may include a pre-agreement on a buyout with a trade to another team. Mind you, the buyout would have to offer a huge discount from his contract for another team to accept paying him off. I'm reaching for straws.

Ahh, I remember when Toronto fans (myself included), thought Colangelo was going to be our savior.

    LMAO.

    Turkey Glue is DONE.

He can't play in an offense where the ball isn't constantly in his hands. Remind you of anyone??? (T-Mac).

He's too slow and out of shape to run off of screens. So, basically, if you want him to be effective, you have to give the ball to him on every play and let him do the "playmaking", which goes against pretty much everything Adelman wants and is eerily similar to Tracy McGrady of last year.

    Do not want.

Toronto will probably be quite cooperative in rectifying their mistake in signing him.

    PG: Beno Uhdric
    SG: Tyreke
    SF: Hedo
    PF: Landry
    C: Hawes

Yeah you are right, they are still not a playoff team.

But some of you people are out of your damn minds not wanting Hedo if he came with Bosh. Hedo would probably come off the bench and if Ariza was involved in the trade Battier could start.

    Could you imagine our bench?

Lowry, Bud, Hedo, Scola, and maybe Miller?

That would be so fun to watch and filled with white people.

    Starting line up of...

    Brooks, Martin, Battier, Bosh, Yao

    Now thats a championship roster.

Easy to say when you havn't had to watch him day in - day out. This guy made me stop watching, that's how bad he was, don't know if I'll ever watch another Raps game again.

I'd be okay with signing him as a free agent if he somehow got out of his contract. But, there's no way I think we should take him with his albatross contract, even with Bosh. There are other PFs we can trade for that won't come with such a collossal burden.

Serves him right for leaving a championship contender to a lotterly team just for the money. Hes got to live with his decision.

Im not exactly a Raptor fan but ever since the Bosh rumors cropped up around the deadline I made a point to catch as many Raptor games as possible on LP. What I see is a guy who isnt being used properly.

He has no history of cancer-ness at all, he has been a good player on multiple good teams. One bad year and its all his fault? Perhaps its the way the organization is run?

He deserves some of it, but I think all of it is excessive.

Sorry I'm not viewing him from an objective point of view. I've just developed this hate for him that will never change:)

Don't get me wrong I know there were many issues within the Raptors organization that probably played a role in his performance. But he didn't do anything to help the situation, he entered camp out of shape, the whole thing started out badly. He's got to get some of the blame.
