Everyone at work and school asks me if i'm sick (or high) LOL because my eyes have been red ever since the Media Day ban...i've been reading non-stop and right now i have a headache and eyes burn... this is going to be an amazing season. Ever since we got Yao every off-season is harder to wait for the season to start. And I didn't think anything would compare to how anxious I was after the T-mac trade.......
Yes,Doc,you grouped Wesley with Bobby and Mike, and referred to them in the past tense.Gonna make a move for a big 2 who can d up and get that ball inside? BTW...I still feel CD is the man.We pretty much stole Rafer while filling a need. Our chemistry should be something to behold.
The more I think about this deal and the more I research Alston, the more I like the deal. I have this feeling that he might prove more significant than Swift. This team has not had a true PG in years and years. A drive and dish player could take this team to another level. TMac is a given, and Ming is the key, but a true PG could rev up the Rocket's engines.
umm, it's funny to see how things are recycled through the internet. That same statement came initially from the Chronicle.
Here's a vid from foxsports with a little bit of training camp action, and a couple of words from Skip about his role. Unfortunately you have to use Internet Explorer to view. http://video.msn.com/v/us/dw.htm?p=...a8a3-1368a94e68e1&m=us&pl=Fox Sports_Top News
Thanks for the video link, mcable. I like the part where Skip says "1:11", "get the ball to McGrady and get the ball to Yao Ming". Looks like he's catching on quick.
I guess someone predicted this acquisition a few months back http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?t=90578&highlight=alston
Chinese joke thread. Also, I think it was something more like "Sura falls in a faint." One of the funniest threads ever.
What I find interesting is that Alston was one of the And 1 street ball players. Yet Mike James' game being more 'street' and Alston's being more under control seems like why we traded him.
If y'all watch the and 1 mix-tape vol. 1: its shows that even with all the dancing tricks, and skipping while dribbling tricks; he still passes the ball more than he shoots it. i wish i knew how to upload the and 1 mix-tape vol 1 for you all to see. its shows skip schooling 20 somthing year old streetballers at the young tender age of 15!!!
