I hope that's not supposed to be Rafer playing D. If so we're in trouble.

don't forget that alston played for stand van gundy...

i assure you that JVG knew what he was getting...

I like the deal, we need a passer on this squad... imagine alston driving to the lane throwing no look alleyopps to stromile and tmac and dishing to yao for the layup...

    great move

Fair trade talent wise, I like what Alston brings in terms of passing and setting up an offense.

Kinda funny how JVG said he won't coach knuckleheads and then they bring in one of the biggest knuckleheads of last season. I don't think his attitude will be a problem though, well atleast that's what I'm hoping.

So IF Rafer plays well and comes on strong for the Rockets, who gets to bring the "RAFER MADNESS" signs to TC? Or you can paraphrase Yakov Smirnoff with "In Houston, Rafer smokes you!"

Just a thought. A disturbing thought, but a thought.

I've been trying to tell ya'll guys... put your money down, you won't regret it.

Well... you might regret it, but I doubt it.

This is going to be a very very good season... great move.

James was cool, but Rafer is better, anyone who says different is blind.

I'm sure DA will be the one spelling Rafer at the point a lot of the time, assuming Sura will still be hurt and Head isn't ready. He did it in Portland.

    "yao for the layup"...

    sigh.

Anyways, lets keep the personal criticisms aside please. Not that I care either way, because I like to see people squabble, but there's no need for it here.

Also, I am all for the trade. James was great off the bench, but his talents can be easily replaced. I just hope Sura doesn't become the odd man out because he really was the embodiment of the heart and soul of this team.

This is Houston Rockets forum. You are terrorizing this thread with your personal grudge against reggietod from the D&D. Don't bring that stuff over here. It's obvious you have a personal dislike for Mike James too but try to save some of that excitment for Ramadan which is 1 day from the looks of your sig.

Here's a good thought that popped in while I was mulling th etrade over - Rafer, Barry and Tmac running the fast break together smells pretty sweet right now.
