I never said once he's a great shooter. He's also not remotely the bust y'all are out here trying to prove with insane hyperbole like "he's only had 3 good games this season" or "he only shows up once every 3 or 4 games" or any of the other complete nonsense narratives that y'all like to push.

Admittedly I have not had to endure the fans people discuss. Sensun's supporters don't seem bad.

Obviously a troll thread but after the atrocious first quarter Sengun’s game last night was totally fine. Touch is a little off right now but after the first quarter he still played good D, grabbed boards, and most importantly drew attention and made good passing reads.

No comparison whatsoever to evaluating vs where Jalen is at right now.

we're 13-9 with half the roster being below the age of 22. last year we won 22 games last year and 20 games the year before that.

the point of this thread is that we shouldn't be trading anybody and everyone should be elated with the team's progress. but instead you got a site full of bozos that just want to make something out of nothing because they're bored.

be happy with the team we got because if you look over at detroit, it could easily be like that.

That’s the misconception and fallacy. Interesting to me. Green has shown to play defense and makes a lot of correct decisions on both ends. He has shown the ability to guard the perimeter and switch. Had a good block last night. He had good paint defense in several games including against memphis. Makes a lot of correct reads on offense swinging it to open shooters like FVV or defers to Sengun on high screen and rolls. Had 7 assists in MIL. He may not be dropping 40 this year but he is helping the team in other ways and to conveniently say he isn’t contributing is simply untrue. As I said before he may not be what you want or hoped for whatever that looks like in your mind but doesn’t mean he isn’t contributing. And again part of the issue is adjusting to a heavy 2 man game with FVV and Sengun while not having driving lanes due to teams stacking the paint.

I'm not bothered by the thread, but you should buy an "I"!

    Here’s why haters hate:

    1. Expectations in their mind of what they want him to be or what they think he should be not necessarily what he is right now.

    2. Lack of knowledge or understanding the game of basketball. Not seeing him helping the team in other ways or making the correct reads on both ends.

    3. Biased and bigoted sentiment and unfair judgement. They Words used such as “mentally weak”, “useless”, “weak”. They judge his instagram page, haircut, clothing, nails.

    4. Impatience and ignorance thinking a lot of stars develop overnight whereas the data shows otherwise. Not understanding that players grow and evolve each year whether incrementally or drastically. There’s no doubt Jalen is a better player this year in terms of on ball, help defense, and rebounding.

    5. Not looking at the bigger picture or scope. There’s a myriad of reasons why Jalen is struggling and part of it is the way the offense is structured with a poor fast break offense, no iso and heavy FVV & Sengun combo. Instead fans judge and demand his “performance” improves without taking a deeper dive into the possible causes of player performance.

big words, but you're the one who is ignorant if you think that mental aspects do not matter in the game AND that that personality cannot be assessed by both on-court and off-court demeanor. The kid is a feminine softie.

That’s judgement on your part based on conjecture. Where are you getting the information from? Did you somehow violate HIPPA rules and got a copy of his medical mental health report? Did a credible source tell you? Did you get it from a sourced news article? Do you know his confidants? Did you have a personal relationship with him? If the answer is no to any of these then it’s just your judgement.

those were good. What about the other 21 games. Those matter. Clearly the full sample size favors the latter which is the issue that absolutely significant.

Full Context matters not selected bias

you keep trying to say this and its already been refuted as nothing to be praising. you're on westbrick level of thinking taking 20 shots just to get to 20 pts which is horrendous. it's actually you who actually isn't watching and pretty much looking at the box score. The irony

And ever since this post Friday, lets add to it while were at it

    12/15 - 14 pts. It took 12 shots
    12/17 - 16 pts. It took 11 shots
    12/18 - 12 pts. It took 12 shots

Tale of 2 perceptions. Interesting No matter how bad Sengun plays people still gleaned postivity out of it whereas Jalen is judged differently and the perception is all negative with zero positivity, hope, or support. That’s why this is beyond basketball. It’s perception bias and personal feelings not necessarily critical thinking and analysis on the game, player performance, and environmental factors or other variables.

Yeah, nobody is even mentioning that Green is averaging 13 ppg in 8 games.

I do not even find him feminine, I find him as a hipster who cannot string along proper sentences. Yeah, he speaks like a timid child.

I associate curves with being feminine. To Each his/her/their own.

Obviously I retorted to a post which was not about basketball....carry on.

I have a decent sense of what is feminine I would guess, and tomboy looks is hardly anything feminine.

At best it is a mesh of both genders.
