All propofol does is knock you out. there's no high to speak of. If you've ever had surgery you probably had this stuff. I give this stuff to people everyday. Literally all it does is knock you out. It can be abused if you get the dose right, but most anesthesiologist and crnas abuse it to treat insomnia . I have to watch videos on this every year for work. Pain medications is what u want to get high. In fact, propofol is more likely to kill you by knocking out your respiratory drive (unless you have the right dosage based on your body type figured out, or you have someone near by to give you a reversal drug). Even if you do get high, you won't remember anything when you wake up

 

Morphine sucks. I had that after my first ACL reconstruction. Just made me sweat and itch and I couldn't actually sleep.

 

30-60mg through an IV will have you feeling good

FU propofol. They gave it to my dog to put her to sleep and I watched my dog doze off from it thinking I would be the last thing she would see having said my goodbye. Then, she woke up, they gave her another shot of it, and I was no longer the last thing she saw. Sniffle.
