I know this is a joke thread, but I am just trying to visualize what the Rockets might be moving toward -- thinking out loud if you will, so, let's see-- I know they want to sign Asik and Gordan and go young...they'll have to cut Livingston and renounce Camby for that, plus trade some assets away with Martin in a sign and trade for Gordon -- who know what NO wants, but I think they may actually take Morris, Lowry and Martin for Jack and Gordon (Lowry, Martin, Rivers is a good backcourt for them) I think they'll keep Scola as opposed to amnesty him or trade him below value, so:

    C- Asik D-Mo Leuer
    PF- Scola White Patterson
    SF- Parsons Jones
    SG- Gordon Lamb
    PG- Dragic J.Jack

I think Morey may actually let Lee walk. Renouncing his rights would make it easy to go after Asik. If they match on Asik everything changes though. But, assuming they don't, Morey is said to be the most aggressive after Gordon, and NO still needs to upgrade the 1 and liked Martin in the past. That would let Rivers develop. They may actually take Morris off our hands as well...who knows, but they need a SF.

That would be a good young team for Houston. Let all those young high potential guys bake together for a season or two OKC style. See who grows, who can stay healthy. It would give people room to grow and develop, but still have enough redundancy to overcome injuries.

    Also, this :

    C- Pau Gasol/Asik
    PF- Josh Smith/ D-Mo
    SF- Parsons / Morris
    SG- Lee/ Lamb
    PG- Dragic

Trade Scola (to lakers) and Martin (to Orlando) to facilitate a Dwight Howard trade to the lakers.

Lowry + Royce White + Jones + Patterson to the Hawks for Josh Smith

    1. SnT Martin + Kentucky kids Jones and Patterson for Eric Gordon

    2. Lowry + Scola + Morris(Lakers are high on him) for Pau Gasol

    3. Pray that at least 1 of Dragic/White/D-Mo becomes a 3rd borderline star by the second half of the season

    Start of season:

    Dragic/Livingston
    Gordon/Lamb
    Parsons/White
    Gasol/Montiejunas
    Asik/Leuer

    End of season:

Start White because he just blew up into poor man's Tmac/broke man's Lebron/dead man's Magic

Advance to conference finals with an average team age of <26.

    NOW WHAT DO I WIN?

(IMO) that team is no worse than the 4th seed in the West... better than that depending on what the bench looks like.
