I couldn't agree more. What is the deal with all of the Odom obsession? He's a solid player, but he's not the missing piece. He's way too soft to be a great 4 in the West. I like his game, but he's more of a 3 in my opinion. We already have the best 3 in the league.

 

True, but at the 4 spot..Odom could rebound better than Howard/Swift, shoot the J just as well, pass better, and defend as well as Howard (and worse than Swift, just due to size/lack of strength at the 4). So he'd almost be an upgrade at the position, though not even close to what we want there.

Yeah, but that puts Francis back at the point, which is not his A game. He really need to head to a place where he can work the SG position the most.

 

Not necessary. I can see him doing ok in LA. Kobe doesn't need a PG, and SF doesn't need one. So they can both handle the ball a little bit, be both that combo guards, while Kobe leans more to the 2, and SF for some 1.
