Not surprisingly, the other idiot son and nepotism barbie both refuse to comply with the subpoena and again believe they are above the law.

Eldest Trump children won't comply with subpoenas from New York attorney general
Donald Trump Jr. and Ivanka Trump are now respondents in the civil case.

The NY attorney general's office said late Tuesday it had told a court that its investigators had uncovered evidence that President Donald Trump's company used "fraudulent or misleading" asset valuations to get loans and tax benefits.

Attorney General Letitia James' office detailed its findings in a court motion seeking to force Trump, his daughter Ivanka Trump and his son Donald Trump Jr. to comply with subpoenas seeking their testimony.

In the court documents, James' office gave its most detailed accounting yet of its investigation into allegations that Trump's company repeatedly misstated the value of assets to get favorable loan terms or slash its tax burden.

The Trump Organization, it said, had overstated the value of land donations made in New York and California on paperwork submitted to the IRS to justify several million dollars in tax deductions.

The company misreported the size of Trump's Manhattan penthouse, saying it was nearly three times its actual size - a difference in value of about $200 million, James' office said, citing deposition testimony from Trump's
longtime CFO Allen Weisselberg, who was charged last year with tax fraud in a parallel criminal investigation.

    fwiw,
last year, the NY AG had subpoena Eric Trump to testify; he resisted and the AG filed similar motion to the court to force him to tesify.
On Sept 2021, the court ordered Eric Trump to testify

A reporter who got a tax return belonging to Donald Trump predicted racketeering charges against the former president, his three oldest children and the Trump Organization and its chief financial officer, Allen Weisselberg.

Trump’s longtime accounting firm, Mazars USA, has cut ties with him and the Trump Organization over what it said were unreliable annual statements.

David Cay Johnston, who obtained and reported in 2017 Trump’s 2005 tax return, told CNN’s New Day on Tuesday that Mazars is helping Manhattan prosecutors compile “a New York State racketeering case against Trump, the Trump Organization, Allen Weisselberg and probably Donald’s three oldest children.”

Today, Judge Arthur Engoron ordered Trump and his two eldest children, Ivanka and Donald Trump Jr., to comply with subpoenas issued in December by New York Attorney General Letitia James.

Trump and his two children must sit for a deposition within 21 days, Engoron said.

Engoron issued the ruling after a two-hour hearing with lawyers for the Trumps and James’ office.

They will just plead the 5th or lie. That's how they roll. Their word means nothing. They will get away with everything illegal they do until the evidence comes forth to prove they were breaking the law. My guess is they have done it for years.

A jury in Manhattan has found former President Donald Trump's company guilty of a long-running criminal tax fraud scheme that lasted into his presidency.

Though Trump and his company have repeatedly faced criminal investigations, this case marks the first time his company has been charged, tried, and convicted on criminal charges.

Trump built his political brand, in large part, on his claim that he was an aggressive and successful businessman.

In all, the jury found two entities controlled by Trump guilty on 17 counts of criminal tax fraud and falsifying business records. The maximum penalty is $1.6 million.

Prosecutors had previously secured a guilty plea last summer from by Trump's former longtime chief financial Officer Allen Weisselberg, who became the star witness for the prosecution in the case.

But Weisselberg's co-defendants, two Trump business entities, remained under indictment.

The Trump foundation was found guilty of violating tax laws (self-dealing) leading to its death.

The Trump Co has just been found guilty on all 17 counts of tax fraud; most probably it will find the same fate as the former Trump Foundation.

apart from the former Trump Co CFO, neither Trump nor his 3 oldest adult children has been charged yet. That is about to change

The man has always been a fraud! Nothing new. It's hard to fathom one man being so crooked and actually even having 1,000 supporters.

The case is separate from New York Attorney General Letitia James's $250 million civil lawsuit accusing Trump, three of his adult children and his company of
overstating asset values and Trump's net worth to get favorable bank loans and insurance coverage.
