how expensive were the shoes? how long have you had them, and how much were they worn? did they have to be replaced or cleaned?

    easy enough to calculate.

From the presidents' mouth: “Its fake news, it’s totally made up. Everything was wrong, they are so bad.”
Are you calling the president a liar?
    I am.
Well if the above is true, it would be easy for the president to dispel all of this hubub, prove the NYT is lying, and prove what an amazing businessman he is...
    ...
    ...
    by releasing his taxes.

Every company I have worked for are under audits from the IRS. Lots of them had a refund, doesn't make it fraud.

The mere fact that he's under audit doesn't indicate fraud, until it does. The IRS will audit those which it thinks are blurring the line. It's only fraud if there's nothing to back it. For fraud, you have to know it goes against tax rules and do it anyway. What a lot of people get upset about is that it seems these wealthy people bend the rules, but the tax rules are written in such ways that, if they can prove their case, it's not fraud and just tax avoidance/tax planning. Like on the consulting fees. If Ivanka had another company pay her a similar amount for similar work, that might be enough to prove the ones paid by a Trump company are legitimate.

The IRS will have to tell us what Trump did.

I am more concerned with the debt. I think article said Trump has personally backed some/all of these loans, even though its held by various companies. So that does make him vulnerable. Although, I'd bet his accountants have some plan to shuffle the debt (get a loan on a different building, pay off that one sort of thing).

I’d like to buy you a cocktail at Grazias so you can teach me how to write off $70,000 in hair expenses.

LOL, why would anybody listen to you then?

Like I said, and I'll continue to say - there's normal rich guy pays lower taxes than you, think Mitt Romeny, and there's guy who pays 0 dollars on hundreds of millions of income.

The first situation is sadly commonplace, the second is not very common.

The rest of my post that you cherry-picked for a point. And scoreboard.

You said it in your post here. Income. Trump isn't showing income due to tax loopholes.

But whatever, keep on truckin' good buddy.

I didn't read the rest of your post (and deleted it) because you said you didn't read the article/articles about Trump's tax returns. What possible bit of insight could you therfore contribute?

I didn't watch the Texans game yesterday - you want me to tell you why they lost? LOL of course you don't (though it was probably related to BOB's running the franchise into the toilet).

Some lenders might not make that distinction.

Of course there are always tweet, or in this case, interviews from the past...

Trump in 2011 said lower-income Americans should have to pay taxes to 'be a part of the game' and said he paid 'a lot'

More like "I can get away with whatever I want because the Senate doesn't hold me accountable... Untill I'm not president which is why I will use whatever illegal tactic to stay in power".
