So a crisis would indicate something new or a dramatic increase. That hasn't happened at the border. There have been decreases of illegal immigrants crossing. That doesn't make a crisis.
Well of course not, basically they are saying cave and give up on border security. I'm pretty sure everyone who is even a little bit willing to be honest knows that Democrats have no interest in securing the border....hell they are now saying there's not even a problem at all despite pushing the narrative of a humanitarian crisis at the border for almost a year now when they thought they could earn political points with it. If there is anyone in the world less trustworthy than Trump, it's Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi.
The fact that they offered it suggests that at the time they agreed there was a problem and that they are lying now right? Not the best thing to mention when trying to defend Schumer and Pelosi putting partisanship over country.
Nope, at the time Trump offered something. Now he offers nothing but releasing the hostages he has taken with this Shutdown...that he said he'd take the mantle for.
It's not an issue where there is legitimate ideological disagreement outside of the most extreme left. The fact that you have to shut down the government just to get Democrats to agree to something they supported up until Trump got elected just shows how bad things are with Pelosi in charge of the house. In the end, Trump probably just declares an emergency and has the Army Corps of Engineers build it. I don't think there's any chance Democrats put the best interest of the country before partisan politics. They just don't have it in them.
I think his wife would have serious issues with him spending too much time in the presence of so many big buttals.
