Trump already removed the Muslim ban idea completely from his website. That's the first major thing that he has walked back on. The wall will probably be built, but it would be a symbolic thing more than something that actually works to reduce illegal immigration.

The interesting thing is that he's going to have to reach the other side of the aisle for some of these. Like the whole lobbyist stuff. He's going to have to work with progressives like Sanders on that, I imagine that ruffling plenty of feathers among GOP republicans.

I think there's a chance that if public opinion of him remains low and if he continues to push some of the more left stuff in his plan that the GOP will just start working against him.

I like the term limits to Congress and bans on lobbyist practices but the reality is I don't see it getting passed. He's already indirectly attacking Congress who he needs to pass legislation in order for him to be a successful President. As much as I agree with term limits, it's not a very good tactic to reach across the aisle and negotiate deals by attacking those who are going to either pass or deny your legislation ideas. That's pretty much the only thing I like though.

Everything else screams trillions of debt that would make those decrying Obama look foolish and I question where he comes up with his numbers. $50 trillion in job production from energy reserves? Where'd he find that number? Seems like he's talking out of his ass here. The global GDP is estimated at $77 trillion. You mean to tell me we've been sitting on $50 trillion worth of energy reserves this whole time? Consider me skeptical.

Cancelling climate change funding to the U.N. is not going to make climate change go away. Ignoring an issue doesn't fix it nor should it have any correlation towards having clean potable water which it will need if his plan is to pass things like the Keystone Pipeline.

Labelling China a currency manipulator concerns me. If this is his first jab at China out of many that will come from his mouth in the next four years, expect tensions in the SEA region of the world to rise and the safety of our troops there like in Japan to be at greater risk.

I still don't understand how he expects a wall to be built and for Mexico to pay for it. How exactly does he expect them to pay tens of billions of dollars for a construction program that offers no utility purpose? If or when it's constructed and Mexico gives the middle finger, are we then stuck with this POS useless concrete wall uglifying our borders on Texas we then have to foot the bill? Doesn't seem bright.

Reversing executive orders from Obama again seems like a poor way to negotiate across the aisle with fellow politicians and will probably cause gridlock on anything he wants to try to pass. Making enemies of a GOP Congress while alienating the Democrats who are also a part of Congress makes for no passable legislation. I expect gridlock even within his own party.

Repealing Obamacare seems counterintuitive since it's going to screw over millions with pre-existing medical conditions and he offers no policies towards fixing health care premiums from continuing to skyrocket. I see people complain about Obamacare raising their policies. Do you not remember what it was like before Obamacare? Health care premiums were already skyrocketing beforehand. What's his fix?

What also concerns me is him wanting experimental drugs to be rushed through so citizens can receive treatment. It sounds good in theory but again in practice it's really not. Pharmacy Companies wait years before releasing medication to the public to eliminate as many potential risks to the public that might end up killing citizens instead of helping them. Expect to see even more lawsuit settlements like with Pfizer in the future if this is passed.

Issuing a task force on crime when we already have police law enforcement seems like another way to further enact a police state and raise tensions locally instead of ease them. I'm expecting a lot of legal citizens here of color to get unwarranted stop and frisk treatment from law enforcement creating further divisiveness and trust in our law enforcement. Good on him for wanting to target gangs but what is this new task force going to provide that local law enforcement and government entities like the FBI don't already do? Seems like more funding for more tech gadgets that'll serve no real purpose like this fake bomb detector all the while wanting a freeze on government hires.

The job freeze seems counterintuitive since in the coming months taxes will need to be collected and the IRS conducts temporary seasonal hires to get through their workload. But that's just one government entity. Think of the others we actually use that'll get worse because of this. If you thought our government was already inefficient expect things to be worse with this in action.

    1) I like term limits.

    But-

    2) Making that his first priority will alienate just about all of Congress and probably will prevent him from doing much else.

And The Wall will be an outstanding investment of my tax dollars! Looking forward to donating some money to that project. Not.

Seems like Trump is copying the Chinese on this one. . . . And, the Great Wall doesn't do jack ****.

No idea if he can get any of the stuff passed in the first section, but it's a pretty direct shot at Congress. I think Trump will be fighting with Republicans in under 6 months if not sooner. The honeymoon will be short.
