specifically, Turtle face, who sat on it for almost 5 months.

but for the run-off elections in Ga, where voter turnout has so far exceeded the general election in Nov,
the power-grabbing Moscow Mitch would still be sitting on it

Top Trump administration health officials were subpoenaed by House Democrats on Monday, after an investigation showed "extensive" political interference with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

The interference campaign was spearheaded by HHS Assistant Secretary for Public Affairs Michael Caputo and his science advisor Paul Alexander, who for months attempted to block or influence the CDC’s Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report (MMWR).

The committee recently revealed Alexander pushed for a herd immunity strategy to respond to the
    coronavirus.

    as per Alexander's email
"Infants, kids, teens, young people, young adults, middle aged with no conditions etc.
have zero to little risk….so we use them to develop herd…we want them infected…"

Clyburn said the political appointees also attempted to muzzle career scientists by retaliating against employees who tried to provide truthful information to the public.

Clyburn said subcommittee need the documents to understand "who in the Trump administration was responsible for this political pressure campaign, whether it was intended to cripple the nation’s coronavirus response in a misguided effort to achieve herd immunity, and what steps must be taken to end this outrageous conduct and protect American lives."

trump's COVID-19 response was not just dishonest and incompetent, but criminally so. It literally risked the health and lives of so many people...
Palmer contracted the virus at the airport, and died in early May after a monthlong stay in intensive care. Palmer was among hundreds of federal personnel whose responsibilities were adjusted to include evaluating the health of passengers arriving from overseas.

White House task force kept airport Covid screeners in place despite known risk of infection, sources say

I have no empathy for her. Just because our country doesn't care about containing the spread doesn't mean you can be selfish in countries that actually enforce protocols to contain the spread.

He fueled the fire and thousands died, but Trump puts his own narcissistic spin on it as always. I deserve credit for that water the firemen used to put out the fire. We have more water than anyone in the world. We wouldn't have so much water if it wasn't for me.

Unpopular opinion, but in order to save thousands upon thousands of lives in order to get Trumpers to vaccinate themselves, and get this pandemic under control, I would support Democrats supporting "Naming" the vaccine the TRUMP VACCINE if that's what it takes.

I only wish they could name also brand other safety measures with the Trump name to get all the idiots in my family to actually believe its not a freaking hoax.

That being said...if they named it the "Trump" vaccine, he'd want a percentage of the profit.

I say not only no, but hell no to naming it the Trump vaccine.

I'll stick to renaming Covid-19 the Trump virus. He deserves that title. He showed the world how easily it can spread by doing nothing to stop it. He showed the world how you can kill over 300,000 people in less than a year by encouraging no masks, no lockdowns, and scoffing at social distancing.

You and @bobrek are probably right for different reasons. The main question back at me should be when has giving Trump something to serve his ego thinking you'll get something productive in return, worked out in the end on ANY issue???

Never. He'll always take your olive branch, and use that branch to whip you in the back to beat you into fealty. You guys are right that it could backfire, he doesn't deserve that given his role in running a death cult, and it might not save one life at all since his death cult is probably already baked in. You can't change the past 10 months, and we probably just need to move on with or without the Trump cult. We are unfortunately on our own to protect ourselves & our immediate family, and there's just nothing we can do to change half of the country to usher in a real communal response.
