I'm still trying to find one logical explanation for Abbott allowing polling stations to be exempt from his mask ordinance. It can't be because it's the safest approach. Trump is the worst, most corrupt president in U.S. History, and, yet, there is still a large percentage of Americans that will vote for him in November because they can’t stand the idea of Democrats running the White House, hate Joe Biden, still think COVID-19 is a hoax despite more than 180,000 deaths from the virus nationwide, or believe vaccines aren’t an effective defense against viruses. It’s mind boggling and infuriating. I’m ashamed to be an American right now. Now, we have public schools starting to allow in-person classes for parents that want that option. Things are going to get worse, yet again. All because we have a group of people in America that are impatient brats and won’t make necessary short-term sacrifices (masks, social distancing, hand washing, etc.) to prevent the spread of the virus for a couple of months. Worst of all, they are taking their cues directly from the king of the brats, Donald Trump.
