    thats the joke

people engaging..trying to understand the stance....
    there is no stance!
    no plan!

the plan is no plan and bog it all down to where you are sidetracked trying to reason with someone peaking on acid.

and right on cue once every single talking point extinguished and shot down then its laid bare by them when they say " well thats just how i feel i dont care what facts logic or reasoning" ....

    "so you are crazy?"

    "yeah pretty much"

Will it be "I told you so"?
They should try sending them to a nursing home. That would be an original idea.

Oh man, you guys kill me

    The Facts
Our colleagues at FactCheck.org published on June 22 details from two statements it received from the Department of Health and Human Services — that there were 16,660 ventilators in the SNS available for distribution at the start of the pandemic and that the federal government had distributed 10,640 of them as of June 17. (Another 2,425 ventilators were in maintenance as of March, HHS says, though the New York Times reported in April that 2,109 were unavailable because the government had let a maintenance contract lapse.)

Critically, one of the HHS statements said that “in January 2017 the total number of ventilators in the SNS inventory immediately available for use would not have been much different than what the SNS had immediately available for use in March 2020.”

In other words, the Obama administration had left the SNS stocked with enough ventilators to deal with the initial crisis. At least 7,920 had already been distributed by April 6, according to a document released by the House Committee on Oversight and Reform.

    Ohhhhhh, I forgot - Trump
    Fair enough.
16,660 seems a little shy of the mark though.

Really? that's your response? How about, "oh you're right, Obama had an advance plan for a pandemic but Trump through out the book like the dumbss he is."

New Zealand is fortunate enough to be remote, sparsely populated with only 4.8 million total and has no borders with other nations.
Their Prime Minister ignored legalities and shut the country down.
They are an example not just to the US, but the world.

"I am a firm believer in the people. If given the truth, they can be depended upon to meet any national crisis. The great point is to bring them the real facts."

    Abraham Lincoln

Real facts are what the President avoids. It's easier for him to say what sounds better.

The Obama playbook may have been useful, but it may also have been insufficient. Trump's administration did an entire rework which we now know was also insufficient.
To imply Obama's plan would have worked is guesswork and moot.

OK, I'll spell it out: claiming mask-wearing is second nature to the people of the EU is dumb.
Is another level of analysis necessary?

    Seriously?
These countries have in recent memory had brushes with MERS, SARS, H1N1, EBOLA and Monkey flu.
I think they know the drill by now.

You were the one who complained that Trump was incompetent in spending too much for the ventilators.
    Whose the flip flopper again?

    Lol. You.

You got caught which is why you aren’t replying to my previous comment. Reply to #4806, I know you are ignoring it.

You need me to quote you again? Show you how you are just deflecting and changing the subject?

Agreed. But I was entirely within the context.

I didn’t change the subject.... you literally replied to an article about misappropriation then I replied to you.

You are just arguing in circles.... maybe you need to stop replying or posting since you can’t keep up or remember your spot.

OK, let's see some pics of everyone in Europe wearing masks due to the Monkey flu.
