The Trump tax cuts actually make giving bonuses more expensive because the lack of tax savings I get for the deduction. Edit: I don't mean to imply there is no deduction, just less valuable than it was under higher tax rates.
Lol. But, honestly, even though trade wars are damaging and hard to win, it's possible that they are sometimes necessary. I think a lot of his fights have been bs, but we could see that there was going to be a trade fight with China sooner or later. And, if there's a time to do it, it's when our economy is strong. I don't know if he's going about it the right way or not, but I can't fault him too much on doing it.
Oh, without a doubt china needs to be called out on things (ie government sponsored software and other technology piracy). But as often the case, trump manages to blur a good end goal with bad approach and execution.
