Look at the popular vote. Trump has a press conference accusing vote counters across multiple states, and Tucker Carlson just had a guest on his highly rated show ranting about how he was at the Philly vote counting facility, how he saw two mysterious black plastic bags, and when he started asking questions and video taping, he was removed from the facility. Tucker then asks why? What are they hiding. There is a large portion of our country that are predisposed to believe these things, who have been groomed to adopt these views, who have been lied to by Trump, Hannity, rush and Tucker for four years, playing to their biases, fears, predispositions, This election was clarifying. We now know what this country is. I don’t know whether it is possible to improve things or reverse course. I am beyond happy that Biden will eventually get trump out of the White House. He should win the damn Nobel prize for that alone. But big picture, I don’t know that this country can be fixed. This election revealed what this country is.
i disagree he just tapped into an ugly side. there are other ways to get the "base" that doesnt involve uglyness. he was squeaky wheel and if anything repugs will come to realize being a repug alone and a more normal person center...will always give them still an auto vote ..especially those party line voter.. that is a big group. i do think abortion and last minute push with barrett was a call to all pro lifers.i think it gave a little boost... that group isnt a "trumper" and is underrated now even though they are a known force too for elections for decades
i hope you are right, but consider that people voted for trump despite four years of non stop incompetence, lying, incoherent statements and policy, merry go round cabinet, racist actions and statements, Lafayette square, and on and on. When trump won in 2016 my parents and I got in a few fights. It became unpleasant being around my parents with them saying things like they wouldn’t accept a son who voted for Hillary. My father made a rule that we wouldn’t discuss politics when around each other. I lived by that rule even after many times being around my parents, family friends, brother in law etc where I had to listen to them say how liberals were ****ing sickos, hated America, yada yada. I always bit my tongue. Now my father is sitting at home sulking and expects me to feel sorry for him. I haven’t said one word, but I’m just disgusted. How can they care about politics more than their son? It’s gross.

The next 2 years will be absolutely critical for Biden and the rest of the sane people in this country. We must do everything in our power to eradicate Trumpism. Knowing what we know now, another 4 years of Trump would have completely destroyed democracy. Trump had set the stage to rig elections with corrupting the judiciary, brainwashing, and intimidation/scare tactics. It almost worked this time, but imagine another 4 years of him corrupting every branch of government. Likely we would have seen Trump Jr run in 2024, then Ivanka, then Eric etc.

The economy was on absolutely fire, especially for small businesses. 69% of people who got polled said they were better off economically then they were four years ago. Its not rocket science to wonder why Trump almost won the election. The issue with democrats is MESSAGING MESSAGING. Nobody gives a **** about unity or coming together. Once again Biden is tweeting this bullshit about how there are no red states or blue states blah blah. YES, THERE ARE BIDEN. The people who voted for you WANT YOU TO BE A BLUE PRESIDENT. It's because a **** ton of them have business and Republicans ran non-stop ads attacking democrats as socialist who were going raise taxes. The democrats took it up the ass and didn't say ****. I didn't see one campaign ad from Biden that targeted student debt relief, public option expansion, etc. If I'm Biden I come out tomorrow with a 100-day plan that revolves around populist ideas. On the first day, he'll sign an executive order expunging all weed cases, he'll tell his education head to waive all student debt, tell the doj not to prosecute weed cases. COME OUT WITH POLICY TO WIN PEOPLE OVER. This will help him in the midterms and he could campaign on how much he could do if he gets a complete senate. Instead, we get stupid ass tweets like this The party is clueless. The only thing that can truly save the party is if Cuban comes in 2024 and wipes the floor with Trump and saves the democratic party. Cuban would easily win texas and PA and rebuild that "blue wall" for good.

The easiest solution would be just to have Popular Vote and forfeit or nerf Electoral College. It also forces the Republican side to look for more Votes in total. Most people are willing to be sheep, a sad fact.
But what are they trying to hide? Why are republican poll watchers denied access to the poll station? Regardless of which side you’re on this mail in chaos have been disastrous! The world deserves an answer!

Time to crack down on the FCC and force them to make Tucker and the rest of the yahoo’s put up warnings after every break ensuring that people know it is not a “news” program. Do the same across all channels that do the same...hell, put it up before the Daily Show, John Oliver’s show, Maddow, etc. Hell, Fox just said during a court case that Tucker wasn’t real news...time to put that warning up.
