Phillips tried to ruin that kids life. He let the country and media label that kid racist and let him be doxxed when he knew all of it was a lie. Phillips deserves to be dragged through the mud.
You left out Phillips biggest sin of all... (in addition to being off the topic.) What does it have to do with the stare down involving Phillips and the kid while the kid's friends carried out racist actions against Phillips who intervened after the school kids were harassed by a hate group? I don't want to harp on it again, but one last time I will make a suggestion that maybe you could start a Phillips is a bad guy thread. Put all of the bad things Phillips has done that don't have to do with the incident that has been all over the media that is the topic of this thread. I don't know maybe it is related enough to the topic at hand. It's just that it seems like it has nothing to do with the incident in the Catholic School kid in DC.
It is possible. But lately the far left have been rabid because of their resentment issues. I don't think conservatives are angels but for free speech they have largely shut up and let the left embarass themselves for three years now.
another piece on the broader significance: "Elementary fairness requires that people know the facts of a case before they pass judgment, and any minimal understanding of how things work in America today should ensure that people know there is no way to get the facts of the case in the five seconds it takes someone to read a tweet. "We are supposed to be sophisticated about media and its uses in 2019. And we are supposed to know how easily we can be misled, either by design or unconscious biases. This should be true particularly of the 'opinion leaders' who elevated the story to mainstream interest. "Opinion leaders are supposed to know about the risks of selective editing. They should know that a freeze-framed 'smirk' is an entirely evanescent expression, one of 24 frames in a second of conventional motion-picture stock — and that when you read meaning into it, you are revealing more about your own obsessions than you are interpreting a real-world phenomenon." https://nypost.com/2019/01/23/the-covington-controversy-proves-social-media-is-cancerous/

Hopefully Melania will make salads. Or Taco bowls. I am sure whatever happens, Trump will get his two scoops.
A softball interview from the softest hitting news/entertainment outlet on TV. My favorite part is where he said "There was a lot of times he could have walked away." Even though he walked up to the guy. There were a lot of times Phillips could have walked away too. This old guy is pathetic. Getting into it with "older teens."
Let it go man, the left has already built a wall preventing truth and common sense from getting through.
Yes, that's what the left has done. There is nothing the truth-telling exemplars of common sense on the right can do.
This whole ordeal is beyond embarrassing. The fact that there are still thousands upon thousands of people who still believe so many untruths about this is shameful. Some of the blame should be put on the individual, you shouldn't be able to go through your whole life with such a low level of intelligence, but the media is mostly to blame. They're the ones preying on the dimwitted who simply don't have the intelligence to know any better. Vietnam vet: lie Recon marine: lie Was approached by the teens: lie Shouts of build the wall: lie Just trying to get by: lie This is coming from an adult, how freaking embarrassing is that. A grown ass man has to lie because he's so embarrassed, so ashamed, that a puny little white teenager got the best of him by not responding to his intimidation. However, you go on social media even today and you'll see endless comments about those "snot nosed brats" and how "disrespectful" they were. How Trump could possibly get elected becomes more and more clear with each instance like this; people out there are intellectually lacking, severely.
Well, I think being raked across the coals for lying about your military history is worthy of being a victim. Things like this shouldn't be gleaned over. You for some reason think he shouldn't be a victim of his own lies, odd stance to take.
I don't have a problem with raking Phillips over the coals for all of his misdeeds. It's just that 95% of it has nothing to do with what happened in DC with the Covington kids. In that incident, Phillips did nothing wrong. We can say that he wasn't honest in the follow-up. We can say the media got it wrong afterward. Those things do have to do with the incident. The one exception I will make is that he was a fridge mechanic. So that is always fair game in any and every thread. The more that gets brought up, and Phillips is slammed for being a fridge mechanic the better.
The kid is getting ready to go scorched earth, as he should: https://www.breitbart.com/politics/...andmann-family-hire-attorney-sue-media-libel/
