The reporter clears asks a number of very specific followup questions about implementing a Muslim database and Trump continues to respond.

Yes, having special databases based on religious identification is exactly what we're talking about. It is basically the definition of religious discrimination.

If it was a database of Syrian immigrants, there might be an argument around it. But sadly, both of you included specifically Muslim Syrian immigrants.

The reporter is the one who brought the word Muslim into the equation. I'm sure it wouldn't just be for Muslims but all the refugee's. Trump did not mean all muslims living in this country need to be accounted for, just refugees

He was talking Muslim immigration opposed to American Muslims (in regards to Muslims) in that video. As for the database he is talking all refugees: Muslims and Christians and whatever other religion they have- he is talking all refugees. The reporter solely used the term Muslim.

So the thread title is misleading - should be "ID for refugees" rather than "ID for Muslims". One can still disagree with that, but then the thread title and many posts are rather disingenuous. After all, all the refugees are fleeing because of Muslim brutality, intolerance and terror, and many of the refugees actually have to flee because they are NOT Muslims.

 

Isn't it scary that the leading GOP candidate is being compared to David Dukes?

I mean with the amount of screening and security clearance they go through, they probably have a profile for every refugee in the country after 9/11.
