What does that mean in relation to the accusations that Trump would like to annex parts of Canada? At what point should we (the American people) take the presidents talks of taking parts of Canada and Denmark serious? It feels like the way this is currently treated nationally by those who support the current admin is “it’s just **** talk and negotiations for other things don’t take it serious” with a follow up undertone of “it’s not like those country’s could do anything about it…” Whats going on here? I strongly think there are more Canadian MAGA ,( percentage wise) than you might think , Trump could have won Canadian Election by land slide pre,-2020. trump’s brutal stupidity towards Canada backfired. Canada (and Mexico) had been selling their oil and gas at a discount to the United States. When trump announced 25% tariffs on billions of dollars of Canadian products (as he babbled lies about Canada) Canada immediately turned to foreign buyers and are now able to sell their oil and gas at market prices. They now have no incentive to return to the US market, thanks to trump. What an idiot.

Largely. Props to Trudeau, though, to recognize he had become an anchor for his party and stepping aside. A certain US leader had stayed too long and submarined his successor's chances. Also, some credit to Carney for looking like a highly competent person. But yeah, those things likely would not have been enough if Trump hadn't offended the whole country and turned them off to all conservative messaging.

It's almost May and still no annexed Canada....... no Greenland..... no economic winning with China ......... no stock market victories.... no peace in Ukraine ......... no trade agreements with Russia ....... no Panama Canal.
