No, shockingly enough this was not a rape whistle being blown. Nor were consenting p*rn stars involved in blowing him. This time.

    Trump is a con artist...

So he's always looking for the edge and will push the bar as far as he can push them....

Basically, a typical kid.. I will keep pushing and pushing until the RIGHT adult makes me stop.

He knows this worked for Clinton, so i'm sure he's hoping that history repeats itself...

Actually Trump asked 8 times.. yeah 8 times in a short period time, he asked the leader of the Ukraine to investigate Hunter Biden.... The Ukraine also had to wait for the aid they asked for.

    It's pretty open and shut.

Unfortunately, that doesn't matter in the senate because GOP senators are deathly afraid of millions of @mick fry's living in a media bubble of Hannity and YouTube right wing gritters primaring their asses if they vote to remove Trump if it goes to the Senate.

Only dummy Trump supporters can think that being a corrupt piece of **** that commits acts worthy of impeachment is a winning strategy for Trump. The spin you dummies put on things is hilarious.

Shortly after House Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced a formal impeachment inquiry into President Donald Trump on Tuesday, Trump reached out to her to negotiate, according to NBC News.

Trump told the California Democrat he'd like to "figure this out," NBC News' Heidi Przybyla reported. "Hey, can we do something about this whistleblower complaint, can we work something out?"

Pelosi apparently swatted him down with a curt response: "Tell your people to obey the law."

If anyone thinks Nancy has not been preparing and ready to roll with this for months then you severely underestimate this woman.

Would she have preferred her own timing? Sure, but Donald Dip$hit...

There was no preparation. There was no plan. Pelosi was letting Trump get away with way more than this. Trump was just so brazen with this latest attempt at breaking the law AND Biden's corruption has been thrust into the light. I have no doubt Pelosi is protecting Biden, the Establishment Democrats only hope

Everyone was pleading with Pelosi to do this and she didn't want to do it.

I’m in between yours and the previous take.

I think she has been ready for this moment and has been counting votes since around January.

However I do not believe she knew this particular instance was coming. I think she was assuming something could be coming big enough to turn the tide and she needed to be ready. She has likely assumed Trump would do something like this or that the committees would uncover something big enough to warrant the tide turning.

Pelosi knows how to count. She knew 218 was the key number and until she knew the votes were there she was going to fall on that sword, but she knew something was bound to come out.

It's a possibility, I guess. I don't believe it though. With a majority in the house, Pelosi had the votes. She would always deflect and say they would never get the votes in the senate.

You heard people like AOC plead to just get it done in the house and let all the republicans be on record voting against impeachment in the senate

There was always support to impeach in the House.

I agree, with this whistleblower, there is more meat to present to the electorate and the senate republicans can't stand on the fuzziness of the mueller report and the cash contributions.

That’s actually incorrect. Yes she had support but only 100 or so House Dems had come out. They need 218 for an official impeachment vote. Pelosi was protecting those moderate Dems who wanted nothing to do with impeachment and especially the impeachment vote which all but guarantees attack ads in their Republican district.

Having a majority doesn’t mean that Pelosi can make everyone vote on everything at any time, and she understood the ramifications of their disposition of losing their seats and losing the majority in 21 if they forced a vote based on obstruction of justice or the Stormy payments which were not well conveyed to the American voters.

So no she didn’t have the votes until there was this big watershed moment that moves the public sentiment.

See this is why people hate the democrats. They are so monumentally weak; they never fight for anything. They are so terrible at politics. Trump and the republicans were saying he was innocent every chance they could get in every interview, everywhere they could find a camera. The Dems (and media) weren't out there saying he is a criminal and why Trump is a criminal nearly as much

Dems NEVER take control of the narrative, they let the Republicans frame every argument. Trump made sure everyone thought the Mueller report was nothing, and it worked. Dems are so worried about these people that are never going to vote for them, It's really frustrating.

Pelosi is always scared, always. Instead of pounding home that this dude is trash she sits back and lets this stuff happen. What is she always afraid of? She lost a billion seats with Obama and Obama was/is a billion times more popular than Trump.

How can she be afraid to lose seats with a criminal in office?

I have no doubt that Trump will raise a fuss, but if it comes to him leaving office, the Republican media machine will move on and all their loyal followers will go with them. The last thing the right wants is a full blown Civil War or more domestic terrorism. They talk tough, but it would end up being death for their party.

I don’t know that 10 percent of his base will believe anything he says. Trump is already turning against Fox News

Can you point to some polls/stats that prove this statement?
