This is the Debate Commission changing the rules as the host not one of the parties. I will point out to that the Trump camp asked for several rule changes leading up to the last debate. Obviously if one party doesn't agree they can choose not to debate.

The one time he was on prime time debate television with the whole country watching would have been a good time. He always does this okie doke where he fails to do it when he's front and center and then shows up later with prepared statements. We've seen this time and again. Not a new phenomenon.
You can't unwhistle a dog whistle -- I think you know that, and I don't think you're really defending the dude who has retweeted white supremacist content, has said there were "fine people" shouting "Jews shall not replace us!" and told the Proud Boys, in front of the nation, to "stand by." This doesn't even get into scores of other statements related to people of color, his birtherism, his lifetime of work against Black renters, his calls against the central park 5, and on and on, as faaaarrrrr back as you want to take it. The dude is clear, and we may as well be able to just admit it and talk about it. I'm not calling all his followers racist, but this guy, the guy himself: walks like a duck and has always talked like a duck. I don't get someone twisting themselves in a pretzel to find some way that, just perhaps, he's somehow a decent human being in really good camo.
