    Take a guess when the tariffs came into place. I'm in development so we look at costs for materials all the time. This will just make houses more expensive in the end.

    China supplies 3.35% of the steel that the US imports. Tariffs on Chinese steel should not be a big deal either way.

    Canada 17.57%
    European Union 21.42%
    South Korea 9.56%
    Mexico 8.58%
    Brazil 8.38%
    Japan 5.69%
    Russia 4.91%
    Taiwan 4.33%
    Turkey 4.06%
    and
    China 3.35%

    The top of the list includes some of the US's strongest allies.

    We will have to wait to see what the 12 Year Old in Charge does.
