Everyone knows that Trump really would like to avoid immigrants from certain countries that are poor and allow for more immigration from wealthier or more Westernized countries. We can debate the virtues of his position........ is it racist? Does it matter if it is racist? Would immigrants from places like Ireland and Central/Western Europe come to the USA in numbers? Would they be more financially solvent?

 

Steve Bannon was right when assuming the only chance Trump has in winning elections is going for the lowest hanging fruit conversations such as illegal immigration. Nuanced economic policy discussion would be a losing strategy for Trump.

To think that a horrific scumbag like Stephen "Look Into my Forehead" Miller is dictating what's going on with this country and immigration. He has said behind the scenes that if it were up to him, no more immigrants would enter this country. And Trump backs him 127.23% because the main things that got Trump into office are xenophobia and racism.

 

I hope eventually when vast majority of Americans having virtually no negative experiences with illegal immigrants or immigrants in general will eventually become tired of Trump just spamming this issue because it doesn't personally effect most of them.

Probably should replace "hope" with "wish" though.

 

Is grassley showing a little moral outrage? Or is the president pro tem of the senate seeing the immigration as a lose lose for congressional republicans. Either way, I wish more republicans would speak out.

 

trump is creating a new story to justify his vanity wall... saying in San Antonio that people in the area are telling him there is a big problem with border crossers dying along the roads, breaking into people's houses and requiring people to always carry a gun if they go outside. Big problem that the fake media isn't reporting...
