It's interesting to watch how the leftists are OUTRAGED about alleged bomb threats or whatever in Springfield (although it is unclear who made them) and they blame conservatives for them, but when there is a second assassination attempt at a former president they don't like...either crickets or tacit or outspoken approval. Bad people. And of course, they don't see their own hypocrisy: They blame "rhetoric" from conservatives for the (alleged) bomb threats. But they don't blame the hateful rhetoric from the left for assassination attempts on the former president.

Sounds like the person didn't get a shot off but appeared to shove the muzzle of a rifle through the fence a few holes ahead of Trump, the secret service saw it and shot at the person. The person fled and was apprehended later.
Crazy people with unfettered access to AR-15s, no matter their political affiliation or registered party, should not be able to get so close to presidents, former presidents, or presidential candidates. I would much rather see Trump defeated in the election in November than wish him to be killed by a crazy gun fanatic with delusions to become famous.
