Just listened to an interview with Chad Wolf. He differentiated what is happening in Portland with "Operation Legend" which is what Trump was talkng about the other day. What is happening in Portland is protecting a Federal Courthouse, which is a Constitutional use of Federal authorities, with Operation Legend of sending Federal authorities into cities dealing with things like drug dealing and gang violence. Unless those things are happening across state lines or without the invitation of State government that is not Constitutional.
