Some candidates may have burnished their Christian credentials to appeal to evangelical voters. I am not aware of any other presidential candidate who completely faked their faith and then leveraged it for votes.
Do people report illegal income in tax returns? Absolutely. Most certainly don't, but large operations have to. That doesn't mean you'd know it, as it is somewhat laundered. What do you think mar1juana growers and shops are doing? Not reporting their illegal income? No. They are reporting it because not doing so would be illegal. Remember what took down Al Capone. But it isn't illegal income people are looking for and you know it. You just stated it as fact that he doesn't do anything illegal, but you have no idea.
Funny, the only word you seem to be adept at using is the expletive. I answered your question twice now. Perhaps you should take a break from the computer, go outside, breathe in the fresh air, feel the warm sun on your face, and then return when your emotions and compulsion to defend trump are not impacting your ability to discuss things.
Wow the Christian in you believes God meant for you to be a faith judge Thats as bad as fake evangelicals GWB is the biggest war mongerer in the group.
For someone who has an incredible amount of suspicion around his campaign and its ties to Russian spies, oligarchs, and operatives, yes, there may well be worse things in his tax returns. Trump thrives in secrecy, hiding behind the law and paying people off with non-disclosure agreements. There's a reason most every Presidential candidate for 40 years has provided tax returns when they entered the race. Get a clue. For someone who doesn't know much about anything, you seem awfully sure that Trump isn't a corrupt scumbag hiding assets that would shed more light on his ties to Russia.
You said you wanna know where his income comes from. I asked why do you want to know in post 125. You have not said why you want that information
I'm sure if he were doing something corrupt or illegal it wouldnt be in his tax returns. Where is the line item in the 1040 for Russian spy income?
As I've said, I'm not a Christian. Nor do I pretend to be so that I can manipulate people. So, I don't really feel any compulsion to leave judgment to God. Trump's christianity is bullshit. Do you disagree?
Perhaps you can't read quoted material, so I will post this for a third time: But what is important is whether the number of allegations about money laundering, illegal financial gains from questionable business activities including emolument violations and of course financial dealings with Russia. His releasing his tax returns (as every president in the past since Nixon... and Nixon released his under pressure) would go a long way to clearing up these allegations. Which you would think would benefit trump... unless, he has something to hide.
I believe it's no different from most presidential candidates. And no I don't know if it's bull ****. No one is without sin, so technically by that standard everyone is bullshitting who claim Christianity. I thought you were a Christian. Sorry
Why would we want to know the business interests of someone with the most power to influence policies that affect businesses? Are you serious?
My bad I didn't read that. His tax returns are either fake or real and have cleared the IRS smell. You aren't gonna learn if he is doing illegal or not. As far as Russia is concerned, let it go
Actually I was waiting for someone to at least say that. On this subject I think people think it's way too easy for someone on power to use their authority for personal gain. Everything the guy does is under a microscope but I can at least this is a practical response
He already has used his power for personal gain. Basically on important business he's involved with now or that Republicans are involved with or that people who want his support are involved with happens on Trump properties. If nothing else he's enriched himself and his family that way.

I accept your apology. We don't know if his tax returns have "passed the smell test" or not. All we do know is what trump claims... that his tax returns (for an unknown number of years) are under audit (that in itself should suggest that his returns fail the IRS "smell test"). His releasing his returns would clear up any questions. The fact he refuses to, and hides behind a "can't because they are under audit", which in itself is specious... nothing preventing him from releasing the returns, and the aforementioned Nixon released his while still under audit. https://www.npr.org/2016/02/26/4682...mp-cant-release-his-taxes-while-being-audited And we don't know what happened between trump, his inner circle (campaign and admin) and Russia. There is too much that has already been discovered to just pass it off as coincidence and/or unhappy Democrats. And every day something new comes out (eg today's news about Cohen, Columbus Nova and Russian oligarchs). But again, trump could have been a lot more forthcoming and releasing his tax returns would have been a big first step.
Most born again Christians are falling over themselves trying to tell you what sinners they are, so they can brag about God's love and mercy. He can be a sinner and still be a convincing Christian. He is just not convincing.
