at least the bush administration knew to call it "enhanced interrogation"...trump is straight up calling it torture and saying he believes it works and we should do it. its kind of insane.

virtually all interrogation experts and military intelligence say that torture is not an effective means to gain intel...that its actually counter-productive, as people will tell you want they think you want to hear to make you stop. but we will see...i dont necessarily trust "mad dog" or others who say they are against torture. its possible they said what they had to say to get confirmed. and who knows what trump thinks from one moment to the next.

also, when these torture threads come up i always feel the need to remind some of yall that '24' was a fictional tv show.
