Should they move it to Staten Island, NY? Or Murfreesborough, TN? Or maybe Wilson, WI? Or Temecula, CA? Or Katy, Texas? Those locations are very far from Ground Zero - I'm sure the residents over there won't mind....
they should move it to gainesville, florida. right next door to jone's dove world outreach center haha
many victims family members are also calling for a new investigation into what really happened on 9/11 - do you support that too?
only a 12 year old girl or a TOF would use the term "lol" as much as you do. seriously, you are "lol'ing" in just about all your posts. you have exceded your quota (unless you are a girl in junior high). and you are the one going around calling everyone who disagrees w/ you an "idiot". seems like the kind of thing an "*******" would do. trueroxfan - "everyone who disagrees w/ me are idiots" jo mama - "imo, the people getting upset w/ this are the idiots" trueroxfan - "waahhh - stop attacking me you ******* prick" grow up TOF.
I think the point in my opinion of building it near where those extremist hit is to show that we don't share values with those extremist and they aren't us. Those extremist believe that the west couldn't coexist with islam, and this center would prove otherewise and show we are integrated and apart of the community. The people who would be most against this type of mosque and infact have tried to kill the imam? those very extremist, so when everyone associates this mosque wiht the same teachings of the extremist when they had the exact opposite mindset of what this mosque along with most mosque teaches, they dignify the terrorist messages in truth. Also, as far as location goes, the problem is much bigger, there was a mosque in Tennessee, far enough from ground zero...burned...there was one in florida...far enough? a bomb was placed there.....there was one in california...far enough? people through bricks in there...
stop building them perhaps...kinda like the anti - field of dreams.....if u dont build it, they wont come
lol lol lol sorry ill start using haha everytime i chuckle, is ha'ing laughing? it's certainly out loud...hmmm i wonder go tmac o and lol
bigotry implies using force (the exact definition says "not tolerant"). He has not promoted using force of any kind thus it is not bigotry. At least I never read anything that said they can't build the mosque or Muslims shouldn't be allowed in America.
Their is no force in that statement. Their is nothing indicating a threat of violence if they (Muslims) do build more mosques.
People's spelling on both sides of the argument in the last few posts kind of makes it hard to read their posts.
the point of my initial argument (before all of the ridiculous responses) was that....build ur mosque a mile away from the proposed site and no one would give a damn. The whole "well this mosque was burned in Tenn and this one was torched in Cali is a bunch of crap. That stuff happens (unfortunately) occasionally....it happens to mosques, churches, synagogues and other places of worship....not just mosques.
Islamic religion should be penalized no more for the acts of Al Qaeda extremists than Christianity should be penalized for the extremist, bigoted acts of the KKK. Opposing the location of this center for religious reasons is closed-minded to say the least.
