Kerrygold Irish butter was $11 at grocery store today. Tariffs. I feel attacked and targeted.

Today was the first day I noticed the price change. My wife usually pays more attention because she’s English and she “occupies” the task.

I don't buy it much since I just use it for bread and such and it lasts a while, for cooking I use Falfurrias (which I just looked up and is half the price).

Is Bailey's made in the US or imported?

Sadly my Irish wife hates it.
She loves her Land O Lakes
Uses butter on her turkey sandwich.
    I don't get it

    No.
MAGA logic is whatever Trump is doing is what they voted for.

if Trump starts WWIII with New Zealand, they will say that’s what they voted for.

Define the "messes" he campaigned on cleaning up please?

Would you also say that this list here from the AP is accurate or are they lying?

    https://apnews.com/projects/trump-campaign-promise-tracker/

    ......

Not listed here though is regime change wars, imperialist conquests, adding to the national debt, illegally conducting military operations, committing murder, and corruption out of the wazoo with crypto, corrupt family deals with foreign dictators, etc.

Were those campaign promises that the AP just missed???

Greenland is a unique situation though. It's going to be weird when he does whatever he does because there is already a US base there. There is no opposition leader there he can just kidnap. There will be no resistance force unless the Polar Bears put up a fight.

It will just be a situation where Trump just says Greenland is part of the US, and the rest of the world does not recognize it as legitimate.

The US will not be able to just build new cities, and military bases on a whim without massive Congressional spending approval. Greenland might as well just be the moon for all things considered.

I think Denmark and NATO will not initially say sorry.. NATO is done. The US is out, and the alliance is over. I think they'll condemn the statement Trump makes. Look to the UN, NATO leaders, and the EU to put out a statement that Trump actually hasn't taken Greenland, and they'll hope that Trump will just lose interest, and when he's gone the next US president will smooth things over with Denmark.

Denmark will not fight the US though. That won't happen. US military leaders in that region are also closely intertwined with NATO if they aren't already dually serving as NATO military leaders themselves. So the US military brass isn't going to order strikes against themselves. There will be ALOT of "Mr. President..." meetings that eventually delay any real action being taken, and Trump will just claim it like he does with the Gulf of America nonsense, and it'll probably end up being nothing over the long haul.

If Trump goes nuts and ends up ordering strikes on Denmark Navy vessels then boy we are in a totally different world at that point. I doubt that would happen though because again... for the top military brass, and those who serve in the region given those wild orders... they would be firing on those who they've trained with, are friends with, and have deep ties with. It would be about as insane as Trump firing missiles at Los Angeles.
