I asked for an answer as to why you feel a SCOTUS that believes in following the constitution is a joke and you're unable or unwilling to give a valid response. SMDH

Why should the Dems respect precedent if the Republicans don't?

Why should Dems play by a different set of rules?

I'll leave it to your imagination friend.

She has been pretty much an activist judge as ever. She refuses to recuse herself when she should and she actively takes sides based on her beliefs. She shouldn't be on the SCOTUS.

By all accounts she's a strict constitutionalist who is very bright and her character is beyond reproach. You dont want a Justice with this type of character? Or is it you dont want a woman on the SCOTUS?

SMDH, that's been decided and she said she's not looking to change existing law.

You got to be kidding lol

What was the precedent set by the republicans In 2016 about justices in an election year?

There are many ways a double majority right-wing supreme court can devastate this country. They can block laws that would progress the country, they can fail to block laws that would damage civil rights and liberties.

I'm not sure what precedent you guys are talking about. But considering that they wouldn't vote on and nominate on Obama's nominee 9 months out but are going to on Trump's. The hypocrisy is so flatly ridiculous it's pathetic and depressing. Saying at one point wait on the will of the people and let them vote blah blah blah.

It appears that Biden will end up winning the popular vote... So guess what that will mean if that happens. The Republicans will have won the popular vote ONE TIME IN THE LAST 32 YEARS.

So the precedent that was set a few years ago will be broken to an extreme especially considering the time frame. Resulting in a 6-3 conservative court. Will of the people my white A**.

The Senate was elected back then to put a stop to the Obama socialist agenda. The election of Trump was a direct reflection of the Obama agenda being rejected. In 2018 the House changed hands to stop the Trump agenda. They did the job they were elected to do too.

    Lmao and there it is.

So the House needs to do their job and go ahead and impeach Trump 5 times in a row until Biden takes over to block the justice. The Biden presidency should do its job and even the courts.

There's a reason the founding fathers set up the electoral college that you seem to have an issue with.

If the Dems wanted Garland to be nominated they needed a majority in the Senate which they didn't have. This is very simple, is this what you're whining about?

We've dropped so far man that people think it's congress' job to STOP the elected president instead of work with the elected president to serve the people.

    Thanks Mitch.

cool she also signed a letter to church that mentions "the value of human life from conception to natural death"

supported by anti abortion groups, clerked for scalia, she has voted to revisit abortion opposition rulings.

she also said it should be lateral replacement and oh yeah its less than 45 days from the election
