Feel bad for her considering the hell she and her family are about to go through.

 

Will the Dems be spineless cowards and allow this to squeeze through while huffing and puffing to the media?

Feel bad for the country considering the voting rights, health care rights, protections, and abortion rights she is about to take away from millions of people.

 

What exactly would you like them to do?

 

There's a small number of things they could do, a good amount of stunts to delay and extend the time of the hearings,. Impeach trump repeatedly, refuse funding, and shutdown. Do what it takes, OR, if Biden wins (assuming we can delay a vote until after the election), and they fill the seat in lame duck. Commit to packing the courts.

 

Can we say, ACA and preexisting coverage protection it provides is finally dead soon?

 

Doesn’t seem like anything can be done. She will get a vote and unless two more flip to a no vote, it’s done.

 

I just named things that could be done. The question is will they be done, and I'd agree, likely not. If the seat is filled without a real contest, if Biden wins and does not pack the courts, it would say quite a bit about the Dems.

 

If they can actually prevent a vote, go for it. If not, it's a waste of energy. Empty bullet is loss opportunity. Got a 2020 election to win. Focus.

 

With the court's power, with this nominee, this isn't a waste of energy. 6-3 split will be devastating for this country for decades.
