    Um...national average never hit $5 under Obama. That was the lie Repubs tried to use to get McCain elected (That Obama would push prices to over $5).

    Yes we gained energy independence during Obama's term

    It's because of fracking but my point about that is Obama really was neutral in energy policy. He wasn't anti oil and gas
