Maybe they could work a deal to admit DACA holders in place of refugees. Why treatment them like refugees if they are not refugees?

trump ended last night with a ridiculous lie last night (blaming Obama for trump not visiting Britain), and he begins this morning with yet another lie.

This is what trump said during the televised for PR meeting about immigration reform:

And this morning tweetfest... apparently not interesting in signing, nor respecting those who presented a compromise bill.

I'd think because daca holders are technically illegal aliens. Just cause they were brought here by their parents, or walked into this country on their own, they still did not come here legally.

An “in kind” reduction in immigration quotas would be, I think, one way to compromise on the DACA policy. Yet, from what I’ve read, Democrats have not taken any such moves to compromise with Trump.

Compromise. Funny, republicans complain about Democrats being unreasonable. But as far I can tell, Democrats have been asking for (1) DACA. Republicans have been asking for: (1) an end to chain migration, (2) ending visa lottery, (3) some form of merit-based immigration standards, and (4), the racist-in-chief's beautiful wall.

And republicans are saying Democrats are being unreasonable?

It's absolutely not amazing how the "it's about illegal immigration" crowd went right to the limit legal immigration thing after Ttump. A completely unpredictable change.

    So basically
Trumpers - Want immigration to be like the Application/Hiring Process of a company

"SO HOW CAN YOU HELP THIS COUNTRY? What special skills do you have? " - America

Not cruel at all. We either have the rule of law or we don’t.

There’s nothing stopping his family from joining him in Mexico if they choose.

+ no chain migration. No spouses, no minor children. No parent, married children and adult siblings. Blocking family to unite. On the surface, looks like they want to run like a busn, but the reality is they are simply anti-immigration. Why? Immigration work harder, is more skilled, climb that ladder over generation and get higher paying job, contribute more, and more importantly, leading to a less powerful White nation.

There is plenty. They live in America for all their lives. Forcing them to up root and move to a country they probably (and sure so many) barely know... breaking up family. Cruel.

Rule of law once said slaves are legal. Don't hide behind it as an easy excuse. It's not hard to see what is basic humanity and what is cruel.

    I get that .
    But to continue my analogy
You don't hire someone's spouses, children, parents or siblings
You only hire them. and their skill set. No one else.

So, Like in most companies. . they keep it white at the top by limiting the opportunities at the bottom.

True. But you do provide health insurance and provide other supports to families members of those you hire. Business understand that if you want an employee, you have a better chance of acquiring, keeping that employee if you provide support to families member of the employee. If a large companies said, nope, only the employee and we wouldn't even recognize your family members, you will more likely lose that employee.

Likewise, if an immigrant know that families can't come over, that immigrant won't likely come over. It's a great way to suppress immigration.
