    [ALERT]

Lloyd Doggett has become the first Democrat elected official to call for Biden to step down. WOW. These calls will only increase in number and the heat will be turned up on Biden. He deserves it for his poor performance as President and his thuggery using the courts to try to falsely imprison and bankrupt his opponent. This is going to get UGLY. I actually fear for Mr. Doggett's life, as Democrats will do ANYTHING to hold on to power, no matter how dark.

Texas Democrat Rep. Lloyd Doggett calls on Biden to withdraw as presidential nominee
Doggett is the first sitting Democrat in Congress to call on Biden to withdraw.

Texas Democratic Rep. Lloyd Doggett broke with President Joe Biden on Tuesday, calling on him to withdraw as Democratic nominee following the president's debate performance.

"President Biden has continued to run substantially behind Democratic senators in key states and in most polls has trailed Donald Trump. I had hoped that the debate would provide some momentum to change that. It did not. Instead of reassuring voters, the President failed to effectively defend his many accomplishments and expose Trump's many lies," Doggett wrote in a statement.

Doggett is the first sitting Democratic member of Congress -- House or Senate -- to publicly call on Biden to withdraw as the Democratic nominee for president.

well, we know now that since the President has a license to kill, Biden can just have Doggett eliminated as part of his official duties: "interacting with the Congress."

And what did he propose as an alternative in terms of both - 1) a process that will work and 2) a selection that will leave them better off?

Oh that's right, literally nothing and nobody.

    Thanks for the input lloyd.

I don't think there’s any Biden only Fans out there. He's replaceable.

That's like literally the opposite of what reality is - he is not replaceable becuase there is no existing mechanism by which he can be replaced, nor is it a certainty that his replacement does any better, especially when they get all the baggage of not havign a replacment process to do the replacing.

An incumbent president that has already won the nomination is not replaceable. Full stop. You can replace the poll option in hypothetical NYT siena polls , but you can't replace the president (unless your'e the vice president) - and even then, can you replace them on the ballot? Unclear.

You called it last time. How do you see it playing out this time around?
