Not saying NAACP did not give him the award, but you cannot prove something did not happen. If NAACP does not have any record of something happening and there are no public record of it happening, how can they prove it did not happen? Just like you cannot prove God does not exist
Actually, the Snopes article didn't prove or disprove anything, but interviewed those who you would imagine would know if such an award was given to Sessions and they had no knowledge of it. The physical plaque exists, which at this point is all the evidence available. But extremely odd Sessions would have no accompanying letter, or article reporting of the award, or anything else that proves the plaque wasn't ginned up by someone as a joke (or worse). And by the way, the NAACP still opposed his nomination. For statements and actions he made in the past. And while he was confirmed on a straight party vote, its only a footnote in what will be his, Trump's, and the republican party's legacy that Sessions will be responsible for.

Well Trump's first nominee is about to go down. Devos came close but Andy Puzder apparently doesn't have the votes. Supposedly four Republicans have already decided to vote no with all 48 Democrats also planning on voting no. The Republican Caucus in the Senate has asked Trump to replace him.
