Jimmy Kimmel on the Trump cabinet nomination process

    • “Marco Rubio made history. He became the first person ever to be nominated for Secretary of State after insinuating that the guy who nominated him has a small penis,” Kimmel joked.

    • The nomination process has revealed the dumbest person in the US Senate
      • Oklahoma Sen. Markwayne Mullin
        • During Pete Hegseth’s confirmation hearing, Mullin called out Dems who questioned Hegseth’s alleged drinking habits, asserting that plenty of senators have voted drunk.

The more educated the voter was, the more likely they were to vote for Harris.

    Here's some hard data:

~63% of voters with a GED or less voted Trump. ~56% of voters with an associates degree or less voted Trump. ~45% of voters with bachelor's degrees. ~38% of voters with advanced degrees.

It's almost like the more educated you are, the less likely you are to believe the bullshit media/Trump are pushing.

The Left is now more unpopular worldwide than any time since the Cold War: report

    https://nypost.com/2025/01/17/us-ne...r-worldwide-than-any-time-since-the-cold-war/

    excerpt:

Lefty political parties across the world are now more unpopular than any time since the Cold War, a staggering analysis of recent elections shows.

The Left suffered a record-low average of just 45% of votes in dozens of ballots held globally last year, according to the analysis of 73 democratic elections, conducted by the Telegraph.

In the United States and Western Europe, progressives were even more unpopular — with the left-leaning parties securing only 42% of their respective votes.

The Right, meanwhile, won 57% of the average votes — representing the widest gap since 1990, the analysis found.

    ***
The Left’s declining popularity is only expected to continue, too, experts say.

In the wake of Harris’ defeat, leftist parties in Canada, Australia, and Germany are already predicted to suffer similar losses in upcoming ballots.

“The trend is up. There is no real reason to expect that it will stop anytime soon,” Prof. Matthijs Rooduijn, a political scientist from the University of Amsterdam, told the outlet.

Yeah, why do you think the GOP wants to torpedo public schools? This isn't a new tactic. It goes back to Greece. Idiots prefer demagogues.

Not even joking, she looks like the crazy B, 20 years older, in the video for Crazy B

What's crazy is letting in unvetted illegal immigrants en masse, many of whom turn out to be criminals, rapists, murderers.

Many? That's going to be an interesting exercise given that we're talking about undocumented immigrants. But let's go:
    • Going to need you to define many as a percentage. IMO, even on the low end of vernacular jargon, that's going to be 10% or so.
    • Going to need you to define 'criminals'. Let's rule out minor infractions and immigration-related infractions (which is like a built-in handicap). I think you're referring to crimes that affect American citizens in a major way, like theft, rape, murder, arson.
Once we have those items identified and agreed on:
    • Find the % of immigrants that fall into the 'criminal' category
    • For funsies, let's compare that percentage to American citizens who also fall into the same 'criminal' category
This is an opportunity to convince people that your statement isn't typical GOP propaganda hate and fear mongering. You can do it, I believe in you.

The left can play games with obfuscated and suppressed statistics all they want, none of that changes one simple fact:

Every single crime committed by an illegal immigrant is a crime that would have never happened if they were not illegally in the country in the first place.

Scott Jennings: Americans are sick of Democrats telling them they’re ‘too stupid to understand’ — but the party just can’t stop

    https://nypost.com/2025/01/18/us-news/americans-are-sick-of-democrats-thinking-theyre-stupid/

    excerpt:

In Jennings’ estimation, politicians on the left simply can’t stop turning their noses up at the American public: “I can tell you one thing, voters are tired of being told that they’re too stupid to understand, and that is the motto of the Democratic Party: ‘You’re just too stupid to understand.'”

Man please listen to reason. You actually think higher education does that? That's insane, what you are saying is not logical.

Bro, I dont know what your point is? That the right is good? They arent, all it shows is that people are mad for things that they dont understand.

The guy Prof Mathhis Roodunjin, is not a a far right supporter, nor is he advocating for it.

He's concerned he wrote this in June

Ive transitioned from this. People arent too stupid to understand. They are too stubborn to listen.

I'm actually willing to admit when I'm wrong and data doesnt support my argument. Can I say the same for the other side?

Literally anything Trump does, they follow him. They agree WITH EVERY SINGLE THING he does. They dont go against him. How can you have a discussion with someone like that?

Where are the pro Hamas encampments? At your local electrician or butcher? Or at Penn?

Have you looked into which political direction academia skews towards?

Did you show causation with any of that?

Anyone can mention two true facts but unless there is the link to causation it doesn't really matter.

Example: Academia the most learned people in the nation lean heavily to the left.

Gender studies is not the area most academians specialize in.

We’re in a period of great change - one where the rise of technology and the decline in the need for manual labor has and continues to render large swaths of the population redundant. Those who pursued neither a degree nor a trade find themselves in a world where their physical capabilities are of limited use. Rather than accept an offer of financial support, retraining and new opportunities from the Democrats, they’ve instead turned to the GOP who’ve told them that their diminished status is due to various boogeymen (illegals, trans girls, DEI/critical race theory and of course godless liberals). It’s always easier to blame someone else than it is to address one’s own inadequacies.

It’s also extremely difficult to maintain a sense of superiority when society no longer automatically rewards you just for being a white male. Without “out” groups to looks down upon, those (like yourself Os) who cling to racism, sexism and other outdated values have grown angrier and angrier. The anger is fed by their diet of right wing rage p*rn, which makes them vulnerable to the hate-messaging of Trump and other conservatives.

It’s a trend as old as civilization but it always reverses itself and history has never validated xenophobia and reactionary politics as a positive thing.
