700 dollars is the maximum amount allowed per law you're allowed to give as a emergency distribution. They qualify for more $$ after they make the claim.

Hamas obviously attacked first on October 7. I was just pointing out that half of Gaza's residents weren't alive when Hamas was elected. You said you don't have much sympathy for Palestinians earlier in the thread and have subsequently called yourself a Christian later in the discussion.

I certainly think Jesus would feel anguish for scores of dead children who didn't ask to be born under a terroristic government or suffer the consequences of that government's holy war. It's possible to hold Hamas in contempt and sympathize with people who never asked for this.
