The debates are scheduled on a Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. The idea is to give variety so the most different people can watch them. This is how it always is.

Sorry to keep correcting you, but it's necessary today. Hillary has zero leadership experience and she certainly has no governing experience. She did not govern while as First Lady, she did not govern as a Senator, and she did not govern as Secretary of State. Part of Hillary's problem, other than her dishonesty, corruption, lack of ethics, and lack of authenticity, is that she does not have any leadership characteristics. She has no energy, no magnetism, no ability to motivate others to achieve higher goals. Those are important qualities in a leader, and vital to success. Hillary is a policy wonk -- she's make a good member of a legislative committee... but President, nah.

You do know as secretary of state she was the head EXECUTIVE of the State department which is inherently a 'governance' position. It's an executive position. She was a step below the president in handling foreign affairs. That's a major leadership position.

Trump knows his intellectual limitations. After that week of DNC speeches, he is ****ting his pants. He don't want none of that. Clinton would tear him apart.

Rumors that he will skip are spreading. Despite complaining about the schedule, apparently his team is having no discussions with debate commission at this time about setup

I don't think facts or a poor debate performance will affect his supporters. They have shown they don't care.

He is protecting his ego in weasling out of debating/trying to cushion his pending face plant. He knows his clown show has an audience but he is still smarting from the hammering at the DNC convention. He knows more is around the corner.

Trump supporters aren't going to change their mind. They will see his lack of nuance in the debates and not give two ****s about it. It's the swing voters, the independents that will have their eyes open and think to themselves "Hillary is a disingenuous prick only in it for herself but she at least knows what she is doing".

Just think about it for a second Trump voters. Whatever criticism you have of 'Shillary' can be just as easily applied to Trump. "Liar", "In it for themselves" etc. The wild card here is Hillary actually has experience and nuanced policy platforms while Trump is just a playboy billionaire who more than likely is going to hand of his presidential duties to Mike ****ing Pence. Dick Cheney 2.0.

Not only is that wrong, but when you look at how each and every one of her initiatives failed while as Secretary of State, the argument gets even worse. ISIS was born and grew, Libya became a failed state, Russia's power grew, our sitting ambassador to Libya was murdered, Syria just laughed at our face regarding the red line... the list goes on and on. No objective person can look at her record as Secretary of State and conclude it was successful. It simply can not be done.

I thought Hillary Clinton was Secretary of State? When was she Secretary of Defense?

    Here's one:

In October 2009, Clinton's intervention – including juggling conversations on two mobile phones while sitting in a limousine[95] – overcame last-minute snags and saved the signing of an historic Turkish–Armenian accord that established diplomatic relations and opened the border between the two long-hostile nations

Trump will ultimately participate. He is just trying to rid the format/questions and the pre and post debate story. He is just trying to take the content part of the debate out and replace it with manufactured controversy. He knows his supporters will slurp it up.

    How ironic is this:

In late November, WikiLeaks released confidential State Department cables, selections of which were then published by several major newspapers around the world. The leak of the cables led to a crisis atmosphere in the State Department, as blunt statements and assessments by U.S. and foreign diplomats became public.[139] Clinton led the damage control effort for the U.S. abroad, and also sought to bolster the morale of shocked Foreign Service officers.[139] In the days leading up to the publication of the cables, Clinton called officials in Germany, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Britain, France, Afghanistan, Canada, and China to alert them to the pending disclosures.[139] She did note that some foreign leaders were accepting of the frank language of the cables, with one telling her, "Don't worry about it. You should see what we say about you."[139][140] She harshly criticized WikiLeaks, saying: "Let's be clear: This disclosure is not just an attack on America's foreign policy interests. It is an attack on the international community – the alliances and partnerships, the conversations and negotiations that safeguard global security and advance economic prosperity."[139] The State Department went into immediate "war room" mode in order to deal with the effects of the disclosures, and began implementing measures to try to prevent another such leak from happening in the future.[140]

Do you blame Reagan for the 221 Marines and 21 service personnel that died in Beirut under his watch? Do you blame Bush for the 3000+ Americans that died in a span of a few hours under his watch?

Did Reagan have questionable leadership for allowing 200+ service members dying in a embassy?

This is true. And Hillary supporters won't be jumping ship either, no matter what she says or does. But, there are a lot of votes still out there. As has been reported many times, many Americans just don't like these two people. Many Americans will have to decide which stinky candidate they think they can live with for the next four years.

Trump better do his homework, it seems like everytime he opens his mouth something stupid comes out.

And poor Hillary, I don't there is anything she can do to magically become more likeable. She is who she is. She's more qualified than Trump, for sure. But she sure is hard to look at or listen to. Actually Trump is probably worse. These two are really something.
