    Very end:

    Q: "Any moves to come?"

A: "Mr Alexander allows me to be aggressive to upgrade the team"

What the hell is he talking about "winning games with young players like Marcus Morris and Greg Smith"? lol those guys were in the D-league while we were winning our games with Luis Scola, Kevin Martin, and Samuel Dalembert wtf Morey

Morey's trying to boost the trade value of his scrubbiest scrubs.

its interesting how he talks about Rockets only get limited profit from globe market even having a star like Yao, and the league gets most of it.

Its very different from what conventional wisdom had been suggesting.

He was talking about them in the context of which types of players were occupying roster spots on the Rockets' 15-man roster. Morey was differentiating the youth on the Rockets from a "team truly stuck on the treadmill" whose roster is composed of older players on bloated long-term contracts.

I don't think he was insinuating that Morris and Smith were leading them to victory.

"Maybe if I don't mention Parsons, Orlando will forget we have him."

Damn good interview, especially the very last part where he talks about not actually being on the "treadmill of mediocrity" if he is filling our roster only with Manageable contracts, youth who have star potential or tradeable assets.

    This is Morey's MO, folks

What was the point of naming those guys? The context of his answer was that "The rockets were winning with young talent" and he went off and named a bunch of scrubs that got no PT. The fact of the matter was that we were winning because of the likes of scola, martin, lee, camby, dalambert etc. We were on a mediocrity treadmill whether he likes to admit it or not.

Caught this on Mike & Mike Wednesday morning where Darren Rovell discussed how profits really get distributed around the league. It's quite linteresting.
