Well our offense is almost as simple as ISO. Just pick and roll...that's about asa advanced as Mchale's offense will get

Mike Dantoni is as simple: Let Lin has the ball.

Actually reading that makes me feel better that Lin is looking like he's coming to Houston. The fact that he's third in the L behind Paul and Harden in iso confirms what my eyes told me--he's got an elite ability to break down an offense. Coupled with the fact that he's third in jumpers off the dribble means that he has the combination of dribble penetration, pull up mid-range game, and pick-n-roll passing that can make him successful in a number of scenarios. In fact, the fact that Melo demands the ball so much probably hampered him at the Knicks. Lin will definitely have the ball in his hands a ton of the time in Houston. Problem is that with such a young squad now, we'll have to see how he responds to constant defensive attention as the primary offensive threat.

Dwight Howard should be a decent second option to take some of that pressure off. ;)

This is so wrong. Pull up midrange jumper? SINCE WHEN?

At the end of the game, would you ISO Lin or Lamb? Lin is probably a better creator but Lamb looks like a cold-blooded shooter. I see elements of T-Mac/Rudy Gay in him.

Was his injury a serious? Or something to be worried about?

Expensive, but he is actually what the Rockets need, someone who can create off-the-dribble. We do not have one single player, like that except maybe Lamb and he's still a question mark.

As of right now, the Rockets do have players with pretty good offensive potential in Lamb, White, Jones, Motiejunas, and even Parsons.

You might actually get to watch more than two Rocket games on National TV ... TNT and ESPN/ABC.

I also think there's way too many ball-hogs in NY for Lin to succeed, while the Knicks have too many different parts to really make as serious run at an NBA title.

You thought Lin to Chandler PnR looks pretty. Wait until you see Lin and Howard PnR! Purely unstoppable!

It's not how serious but can he stay healthy? He barely played in his rookie year and needed end of season surgery then too.

I think it's about time we see players deny the large market teams. I hope he is prepared to face the scrutiny and the criticism that comes with doing so. MSG will be pretty hostile when the Rockets play there, ESPN will blow up any problems he has in Houston.

He barely played rookie year because Coach Smart didn't want to give Lin any playing time.

    Lin will be fine here.

Kevin's playbook only goes as deep as a basic pick and roll...or dribble until the end of the shot clock for a contested jumper.

Why can't we keep Rick's offense and JVG's defense? That would be heaven.

Are you implying Greg Smith wasn't an isolation player?

He is already being painted as ungrateful by ESPN.
