Kind of touched on earlier, but EA is using technology from Synergy Sports Technology for the game. This technology is also used by a number of NBA teams, and I'm guessing Morey is a big believer in them. Apparently, 3 years ago only a few teams used it, and the Celtics were one of those teams. There might be some more info about it, but that's what a little bit of Google searching got me.
