Would the thought of being buried dead or alive in a 55 gallon drum of pig blood for convicted radical Muslims be enough to cause them pause?

If I'm not mistaken cremation would be worse. I'm told pigs don't hold some Kryptonite like powers over them. Cremation for sure though.

Edit. Menstrual blood might also work.

I don't understand how he's a "refugee" from Pakistan. An immigrant, sure. I thought the refugee program involved almost entirely people fleeing the conflict in Syria. Yes, it's semantic. I guess the bottom line is: could someone from Pakistan immigrate to Germany before Merkel et al. took steps to accept Syrian refugees?

I can't find confirmation of his official status, and the only outlets using refugee (in America) lean pretty far to the right. (Wash. Times, Zero Hedge, some unspeakable blog sites, etc.)

Just like the guy who just raped and killed a girl in Freiburg, he is from Pakistan or Afghanistan. You don't seem to understand: For a long time, there were no checks who crossed the border. None whatsoever. Everyone could come in, thanks to Merkel. If you want to see some "official" statistics on asylum seekers, e.g. for the month of February 2016, when the guy came in, you can google them easily.

    http://www.bamf.de/SharedDocs/Anlag...4275F1ECA88E0.1_cid359?__blob=publicationFile

Afghanistan is ranked no. 3, "unknown" is no. 4, Pakistan no. 7. Thousands and thousands from each of those countries in one month, and those are just the official statistics.

English version of the official statistics:

    http://www.bamf.de/EN/Infothek/Statistiken/statistiken-node.html

Besides, how could a German even tell where these people are from. They burn their passports. There are plenty of criminal North Africans (Morocco, Tunisia) who claim to be from Syria, and who came to Germany as "refugees". Plenty. Those were the majority of the 2,000 guys who sexually assaulted and raped 1,200 German women last New Year's Eve in Cologne.

Remember, these are all guys who get social benefits at the cost of German taxpayers, and who have no respect for local laws, or the people.

And then you are surprised that right-wing parties get votes?

I take it that you are not going to be happy to hear that several bullets penetrated the back of the Russian ambassador to Turkey.

I am not going to vouch for this guy, who I am sure can be defamed as an "alt right" vlogger (and the few comments under the video I read are pretty awful), etc., but you bet there will be many people agreeing with what he says in this video

Never seen this German commercial about hijabs being beautiful and to embrace them, disgusting.

Funny anecdote: One of the refugees where my friend gave lessons mightily struggled with German language, so the secretary appointed her daughter to give the guy private tutoring.

For reasons beyond me, the guy automatically assumed the girl was gifted to him and that they would be married. He then asked when she would start wearing a hijab. Good luck integrating these nutjobs.

He's stating the obvious, but the obvious isn't the issue here.

It's Germany wanting to rewrite Nazi history and look like the big, warm country that accepts all outsiders. Especially Islam, an ideology that parallels Nazism.

It's Islam apologists, themselves out of touch with the reality of life in the muslim world, basing their opinions on knowing 1 or 2 muslims who seem like normal people. None of them ever having spent serious time inside the walls of Islam or muslim communities.

It's this politician coming off as a robot without human emotion, someone the media will easily push as ignorant and intolerant and outdated.

No, the obvious isn't important if the right guy isn't taking action.

You need a media savvy guy like Trump to take a hardline before the rest of the world follows suit. You have to put Islam in a corner of isolation and force it to evaluate itself - democracy was never a realistic option.

Looks like the guy they arrested is the wrong guy. That means the actual murderer(s) is/are still at large, and armed.

FranchiseBlade and TheDelusionalist137 are probably revisiting the possibility that it might be a Greek or Armenian, as we speak.

    Fresh shooting in Germany:

New shooting in Biebrich, Germany: one dead and two wounded

The German police said a robbery in central Germany had caused the death of a person. A helicopter is deployed as part of a police operation.

For the time being the police announced that a woman had been killed and that there were two wounded.

The police gave details of the shooter on Twitter: "We are looking for a male individual, about 20-30 years old, with light skin and a mustache." The security forces also reported that the suspect was wearing jeans, a green parka and a hat.

The police also said that the information concerning the size and age of the suspect had not yet been confirmed in light of the various testimonies.

This new tragic event occurs the day after the terrible attack on the Christmas market in Berlin , which killed at least twelve people, collide with a truck driven by a Pakistani assailant .

Don't think there are any sources on that. Even if he was, it's probably not related to religion, by the sound of it.

I think you are being stupid intentionally.

They are obviously just reporting the event which just happened, not assigning blame yet.

Good lord. Have you spent any time in Germany? It doesn't sound like it. Germany has gone to great lengths to "own" their history under Hitler. Japan and their actions before and during WWII, on the other hand, not so much.

Get a grip, dude. Your "honey" is dripping.

Many thanks for the info-drop, ATW.

Well, you are correct: I did not know the "policy" was so lacking in actual policy. If it was (or still is) that open, it is nonsense and would of course end in tears and worse.

Seems anyone who burns their passport should be deported, no? But then I suppose they just say "I'm a refugee from Syria and I barely escaped with my life" etc. Without screening, all the decent people seeking a new life will of course get lumped in with the criminal elements.

Am I? Not at all. Maybe you are thinking of someone else. I was not surprised by Brexit, by the Trump vote, and I will not be surprised when more and more of Europe turns strongly to the nationalist right. I think it will make yesterday's tragedy look like a picnic once the world is done trying out nationalism again, but I hope I'm very wrong.

Best wishes to you. I too have been to that plaza, just in 2013, when I was doing research in Berlin (for a book on a German). It was such a better time for the planet, or I was in big-time denial. Probably the latter.
