Artest showed a toughness that we have been lacking. Lets face it, The Yao tracy combo just made our team a marshmallow and teams new they could go into a game with us and make us thier b****... Now we have Ron. I didnt know he was tough until Brewer ran into him and it looked like Brewer was hit by a train. After watching that i was like oh, thats what toughness is, since we had been starved of that for so dang long. Scola, Battier, Landry, Brooks, are all tough sob's as well and i love it i just love it. Tracy, please stop smiling in the middle of games. Get tough man, be serious and play like your life depends on it, then and only then will you gain the respect of the people. You just have to be a warrior, and follow the example of Scola, Artest and the rest of the team. I dont want to lose Mcgrady because of his talent but he needs to step it the F*** up man. BC if not teams like Boston and LA are going to come in here likcking there chops bc they know if they blow on you, you will fall. They know that if they push you around you will just smile. Get serious and play like your life depends on it, then and only then will we go to the next level. Ok sorry if i man it long.

It's not that he had the best game in the world tonight - he just stepped up when Adleman decided that Yao was done. There was a reason he got the ball that many times late, and I am glad as hell he did. He hit BIGtime freethrows by going to the damned bucket like half the team is afraid to do.

Yeah I appreciate the Warrier. He took a game that I thought was going to be a loss and just willed it into a victory.

    Props to you Mr. Artest.

does anyone know if artest's ankle will get better, or if it requires eventual surgery? i mean it's not a big deal to me if he misses a game ever now and then, i was just wondering what the state of it was

Ron-Braveheart-Artest should be made captain of the team.
By following his demeanor, this team could make the Spurs and Jazz shivering.

i am far from being a tmac hater like a lot of people on this board...however, even if he did draw those fouls he probably wouldn't have made those free throws given his horrible FT% last year

THAT WAS HOW YOU EARN YOUR MONEY.

However if we lost, or TMac or Yao did the damage, this thread would be missing in action probably.

More Scola thanks is in order as well...... what a steal. Thanks SA.

I appreciate that he played injured when Tmac didn't/couldn't suit up. Maybe Adelman found something he can use in the future with Artest attacking, Artest usually settles for the 3 but in overtime he was attacking the rim like he hasn't all season. Maybe Adelman ought to put Yao and Artest on opposite blocks and let one or the other go to work with the other cleaning up or getting the offensive rebound on a miss.
