wooot! i can't wait for this show I absolutely love it!

 

Currently reading the 3rd book, club dead, and from the preview I saw it appears they will stick to the book as much as they can. The book is a real fun read and is getting me by while this season starts again.

Saw the trailer yesterday, looks pretty scintillating.

 

Looks pretty damn cool, just wrapped up season 2 on bluray this past weekend, glad to read I wasn't the only one underwhelmed by the Maryanne plotline.

will need to watch the season 2 finale to refresh my mind

but yeah the whole maryanne arch was silly to me

 

I did not enjoy Season 2 as much as Season 1, The Maryanne story arc was a bit whimsical, but the Fellowship of the Sun thing was great.

 

The Fellowship of the Sun and Godrick was the most interesting stuff for me. Season 1 was stronger in my opinion as well, season just felt very fluffy and more goofy esp with the Maryanne plot line.

 

Season 1 also had Lizzy Caplan in it, naked several times

I didn't mind the Maryann plot that much...at first. But by about midway through the season I was like "Get on with it, already..."

 

the parts of last season that you loved were the focus of the book... maryanne was about three seconds of the book and she should have been about three seconds of the series as well.

But!

I CANNOT WAIT for this season!! I was thinking I should reread the book before I watch, but then I'm afraid when they don't have something in the series from the book that I wanted... I will be ticked

 

About to finish up season 2.... Can't wait for Season 3 tomorrow.

Agreed. Godrick was awesome and it sucks that he died. I like that "I am serene but could kick your ass whenever the hell I want" quality.

good way to kick off season 3, i think the tara story is going to grind though. i can't stand her mom, much like the mom in the sopranos.

 

Agree, I was thrown off by the previews, they are not going by the book...one episode in.

 

More like the sister in the sopranos on an annoying scale.
