I used to feel sad about Troy Daniels not on this team. He would be a deadly weapon with D-Antoni's system, if he gets the chance to play. However, I also don't think he will get too much time to play anyway. Bev, EG, even Corey Brewer might get minutes ahead of him. Unless, there is an injury occurs, otherwise he might be the same situation as under McHale, maybe a little better, at least the coach can draw some play for him.
Yes we did lose out on Covington, Lin, Daniels, and that guy with the braids who plays for Boston or Atlanta or something, but you can't get it all right. We got parsons, dekker, budinger, capela, in pretty late draft spots.
Partially because we had a coaching staff that excelled at putting guys in situations that did not use their skill sets, so we were searching for guys who could perform well in spite of a directionless coaching strategy.
Was huge against Golden State, a key part of their comeback victory. Now the Grizz are 2-0 against Golden State.
Sad but true. I would like to think the Rox need more than just shooting on their 9 man lineup lol. I mean WIltjer doesn't even get any PT.
Happy for Troy. I was really bummed when he was let go. I thought his elite shooting would have kept him on the rockets a bit longer.
